just a side story maybe? And it will be a
short one, under 10 chapters. You can
read the main story if you want, but if
not, it's okay though. It can be read
separately :)

Chapter 1: Compass

Setting : About 1 week before the royal wedding

"Wake up, wake up!! Wakeup!!!"

Porschay groaned in his sleep with a hint of annoyance.

He knew that the sun wasn't even fully out yet, but his
sleep had to be disturbed like this. Moreover, in a brutal
way. He groaned again when now he not only heard loud
screams, but also the shaking of his body followed by the
blanket trying to be pulled roughly.

Ah!

If he doesn't remember that the perpetrator is his own

biological brother, and the only family he has left, Chay
feels like he wants to kick the noisy maker hard. And he
himself couldn't be mad at Porsche either!

So with a slightly frowning face, with eyes that weren't

even fully open, Chay raised his body trying to respond
to Porsche that woke him up this early in the morning.
And when he saw what Porsche was carrying, he
understood. A cake with a lit number 18 candle.
Completed with a wide and sincere smile belonging to
Porsche who brought the cake. Instantly, his eyes
opened completely. Rounded showing a gaze like a deer.

Ah, he just remembered, today is his 18th birthday!

"Wake up, birthday boy! Blow out the candle first." And
he immediately opened the blanket completely and
approached Porsche who was now sitting on the edge of
the bed and holding a pan of chocolate cake from his
favorite shop. Chay bends his lower lip, looking sad but
happy at the same time at Porsche singing happy
birthday.

Not that he was moved by being celebrated like this. But

precisely because his birthday was ALWAYS celebrated
like this, he felt a little mellow. As far as he could
remember, it had been just the two of them celebrating
in recent years, there was no parental figure they missed
anymore. Just the two of them, only having each other.

And Chay is sad not because he feels sorry for himself

for being an orphan –okay, actually a little bit-, but he is
sad because he feels guilty for Porsche who always takes
care of him and prioritizes him so he forgets
himself. Who always does whatever Chay needs and
wants, but at the same time ignores his own
wishes. Who always celebrates Chay's birthday like this
but never celebrates his own.

"..yeayy~ Well blow now." Porsche ended his song with a

big smile and a happy cheer. Then returned to hand the
cake with the lit candle to Chay, and the birthday boy
immediately blew it without delay.

"Happy birthday, Chay. Welcome to legal age, I guess?"

Porsche put the cake on a table not far from them and
then spread his arms wide which made Chay immediately
jump into the hug. Leaning his cheek against Porsche's
chest, he smiled faintly when he felt Porsche also holding
him tightly, followed by light kisses on the top of his
head.

"Thank you." He whispered sincerely, still hugging his

brother tightly. And Porsche actually laughed at that.

"No need to say thanks. You're my brother, right?" One

more kiss landed on the top of his head, then Porsche
pushed him out of the hug.

"Go back to sleep, sorry for waking you up so early on

the weekend. But I have to go out for the whole day so I
only have time now to celebrate your birthday." Porsche
stood up "It's okay to be alone at home, right? Later I
will leave the money on the desk, and use it to buy good
food, okay?"

"Phi.." But as soon as Porsche was ready to walk away,

Chay held his arm. Staring deep with those round eyes
that looked innocent. But Porsche knows, really knows
that behind those innocent eyes Chay has a lot of
worries. And that behind those innocent eyes there is
also a different way of seeing the world.

"What?" Finally the Porsche is back in its seat. In

response to Chay who seemed to be talking seriously to
him.

"Are you still mad at Phi Kinn?"

Oh-

He was at a loss for words to answer. More precisely, do

not know what to answer. He thought that during this
one week, he managed to hide everything from Chay.
But it turns out that Chay is indeed very smart to analyze
things. In the end, Porsche just laughed awkwardly, not
saying anything in response.

"Is this about Phi Kinn's request for surrogacy?"

"Huh?" Once again, Porsche had to be surprised by the

Surrogacy. Procedures for how to have children for

AlphaxAlpha mates other than adoption. Well, the reason
is simple, Alpha doesn't have a womb at all. So if they
want to have children, they have to choose one of these
two ways. The difference is, this surrogacy allows the
child to still have blood ties because the sperm cells used
still come from the Alpha sperm cells in question, to then
be combined with donated egg cells and 'entrusted' in
the womb of an omega until they are born.

About a week ago, Kinn requested that they should do

the procedure, something that came as a surprise to
Porsche because it was too sudden. He wasn't ready yet,
even though he had absolute faith and love for Kinn. But
to become parents, especially by carrying out such a
very important procedure, Porsche really felt mentally
very far from ready. After all, he's also very aware of his
Alpha status, which according to him is one of the
obstacles to their relationship.

The Teeapanyakul family needs a successor for their

business.

That's what Porsche heard. Tankhun already said he was

not interested in having children. Vegas will be King and
his family will surely be royalty for the next few decades,
while Kim and Macau don't have a mate yet. So Kinn
seems to be a big hope for Teeapanyakul at this time.

And Porsche feels a little burdened, especially with his

Alpha status which makes them AlphaxAlpha's partner.
It's hard to have a child with their bond.

So, he asked Kinn for some time to think. No, not

avoiding problems. He just trying to get his thoughts
straight for a bit. He didn't want Kinn to be disappointed,
but he also didn't want to rush into a decision. Finally,
during this one week, they both agreed to keep their
distance first. And it seems that the change is too
drastic, and it's not unusual until Chay realizes it.

"Don't break up with Phi Kinn." Chay asked. His voice

was low and sad. And he meant it when he said it. Chay
is so happy about his brother's relationship. Because for
the first time, Chay could see Porsche become someone
who accepts, someone who is pampered, someone who
is fulfilled. Chay has seen Porsche being a giver too many
times, especially for Chay. And now that Porsche has the
opportunity to be pampered, Chay doesn't want his
brother to miss it. He doesn't want Porsche's happiness
to disappear again.

Porsche who heard that just chuckled. His hands gently

pushed Chay's head back in joking way.

"If you've become MATE, you can't break up, silly." He

replied "We only break for a while, to think together. But
we're fine really. Don't worry." he continued.

Porsche was silent for a while after saying that. As if he

was remembering something until he finally widened his
eyes when he realized what he was thinking.

"MATE!" he exclaimed. Chay was surprised, but when he

realized what Porsche meant, he immediately widened
his eyes.

"MATE!" He exclaimed repeating Porsche. And seconds

later Chay immediately groped around his body, looking
for his mate's sign which –supposedly- appeared starting
today, when he was starting to turn 18 years old.

Porsche helped his little brother. Look to the place where

Porschay can't see himself. Until finally because he was
frustated, Porsche forcibly removed the top of Chay's
pajamas to make it easier for the two of them to find the
mark.

And there, on Chay's back, he found a mate symbol in

the shape of a compass. Something that should have
relieved him, but now it makes him feel strange.

"Phi, why?" Chay asked because he had seen Porsche

just silent. He tried to look behind himself but found it
difficult. Finally, he ran to the large mirror in his room,
showing his own back to the mirror. And the same thing
happened to him. Dead silence like Porsches do.

"Chay.." Porsche called softly, waking Chay from his

reverie. And Chay who getting himself together
immediately looked at his brother with a questioning
look. As if trying to convince himself. And Porsche nod
was something that reassured him but also made his legs
go limp until he fell into a sitting position.

"I'm not too sure, so best ask Great Omega later. Ask
Pete when he takes office."

Chay is still silent. Ignoring Porsche's words just now,

then glanced at the mirror that still showed his back.
More precisely, the mate symbol on its back.

There, a mate symbol shaped like a compass.

There is nothing strange if only the directional needle

that was there only pointed in one direction.
Unfortunately, his had two needles pointing south and
north respectively. As if showing something far inversely
proportional. Something so contradictory, something out
of harmony.

The bad news –or is it actually good news?-, Porschay

knows Alpha with a similar symbol. Alpha which may
represent each of the compasses with the direction the
needle is pointing.

An Alpha with a compass symbol points north, and

another with a compass symbol points south.

Kimhan Teerapanyakul and Macau Teerapanyakul.

He swallowed hard. Oh, his feeling is not good about

this.

Chapter 2: Two Mates?

Timeline: Pete's Bachelor Party, the day before the

royal wedding (chapter 34 main story)

"Hey, Vegas! Where are you taking my Pete? Vegas?!"

Chay gaped slightly at the sight of Tankhun who shouted
to Vegas loudly, while the object of the man's screams
only waved his hand nonchalantly without turning
around, while his other hand grabbed Pete's waist.
Bringing the future Great Omega away from the party
room they had just now.

Right, party. The last bachelor party for Pete is held by

Great Omega Big with the help of Tankhun and also
Porsche, his brother. Which later also became a bachelor
party for Vegas because the heir to the throne finally
joined them earlier.

It was actually only 9 pm, but it seemed the party had to

end because the main character of the party had both
disappeared. Even Great Omega Big had also
disappeared not long after Vegas and Pete left, followed
by Pete's other friends. Which now only leaves Tankhun,
Kinn, Porsche, Kimhan, and also Macau. The families of
the future Kings. Uh, besides him and his brother of
course.

"Phi, come on." Chay could see Kinn trying to restrain

Tankhun who was starting to act up. Reminding the
oldest eldest from Teerapanyakul to Behave because
after all they are still in the palace now. Chay already
knows about Tankhun's character, because since he was
introduced a few months ago, this guy is a little quirky
and out of the box. Although it cannot be denied that he
is also the most sincere person Chay has ever known.

Chay came closer to them, also patted Tankhun's

shoulder trying to calm down the person he already
considered his big brother. And it wasn't long before
Tankhun calmed down, not even a few seconds before he
smiled broadly when Porsche handed him a glass of
cherry mojito.

Chay was flabbergasted. How quickly did Tankhun's

mood change?

But in the end he was relieved, at least there didn't need

to be much drama tonight. Because it looks like he
himself will create enough drama after this.

"Let's go home. Tomorrow we have to get up early to

come to the royal wedding." Kinn spoke, starting to
reach for his jacket, cell phone, and car keys. To which
Tankhun nodded

"Macau go home with whom?" Kinn asked. Meanwhile,

Macau, who had finished cleaning up his equipment
seemed to grunt a little.

"You, take me home." Macau answered. Today he was

forced by Tankhun – again and again – to get involved.
But because this was a party that Pete was involved in,
he finally agreed even though he still grumbled a little
because he had less time playing the game. And now
being asked that by Kinn, when the same person who
also dragged him here -on Tankhun's order-, made him a
little annoyed too. They should be responsible for
bringing him home, right?

"How about with Kim instead?" Porsche said that. Which

was immediately replied by Kimhan's sharp gaze, who
had been silent since earlier.

"Why me?"

"But that's true, right? Your condo is in the same

direction as Macau's house. Just take him." Tankhun as
the oldest finally made a decision. In the end now Kim
can not refuse, although he still grunts annoyed.

"Then leave it to them, Chay too, all right, okay? You're

going in the same direction. Thank you Kimhan, be
careful on the road." Porsche shouted again and then
now pulled Kinn and Tankhun a little hard, trying to make
the two of them leave the room immediately, before his
eyes glanced slightly and winked at Porschay. Giving the
code that Chay must do what he will do. And Chay
nodded in understanding, limply.

Porsche and Kinn have made up. And of course, when

they makeup, these two will always stick. So from that, it
looks like Porsche won't be coming home today and
telling Chay to go home with these two Alphas. The two
Alphas that are now their symbols are on their bodies,
without them knowing.

"Wanna go home now?" Kimhan opened his voice,

approached Chay then put on his own jacket.

"Yes, right now." Macau answered, and was immediately

given Kim's cynical glance.

"I'm not asking you!" Kimhan shouted mockingly.

Meanwhile, Chay, who was now between the two Alphas,
only bit his lower lip. Not sure where to start this
conversation.

He will tell both of the marks he has. Then discuss how

the continuation of the three of them will be.

"Phi Kim, Macau." He called softly after a long silence

and now felt his courage had gathered. Kimhan turned
his head, as well as Macau who immediately watched him
closely. And that just made him a little nervous now.

"Ah- that.." he winced, suddenly losing his courage

again. But he couldn't put this off forever. "A-about M-
Mate.."

As if knowing what he was going to say, Kim and Macau

immediately approached him. They took one step
forward, until now they were really close to Chay and
made the newly legal omega have to take two steps back
because he was too overwhelmed by the Alpha aura that
suddenly surrounded him.

Kim and Macau didn't really mean anything. They were

just curious and tried to listen to Chay more closely.

"Go ahead to the car first. Here's the key." Kimhan made
a sound and gave Macau the car keys.

"Why should I? Chay still wants to talk to me." Macau

pushed the key again towards Kim.

"With you? He wants to talk to me, you know."

"Where to draw such a conclusion?"

"How did you know that he wanted to talk to-"

"Phi Kim, Macau! Enough!" Porschay intervened.

Dizziness also heard the quarrel between this two
youngest Theerapanyakul.

"I- I want to talk to you two... " His voice trails off at the
end of the sentence. And getting no further response,
finally Porschay reached under his shirt. Lifting the black
shirt up until it was completely released from the body.
Accompanied by the sound of breath held -out of
nowhere-. He didn't dare to raise his head and just meet
Kim's or Macau's gaze. Because that is, all he did now
was turn over. Shows the back where his mate symbol is
engraved. Compass symbol with two arrows pointing in
different cardinal directions.

"H-huh?" Macau's voice was the first thing he heard in

response to his treatment just now. And finally, timidly,
Chay turned his body back to face the two Alpha
Teerapanyakul. Watching Macau who opened his mouth
in shock and also Kimhan who was silent while feeling
the back of his right ear, where his own symbol was.

"What does it mean?" Kimhan asked. His now dark eyes

stared straight into Chay's trying to find an answer. But
those who were asked also did not understand and
finally, he shook his head slowly.

"Two mates?" Macau also asked and his hand felt his own
symbol. This immediately invited an annoyed reaction
from Kim with the young man who immediately hit
Macau's head.

"I'm not willing to share mate with you." he said sharply.

"Heh! Do you think I want it?" Macau replied no less

sharply. Now his eyes were glaring at Kim with disdain.

"I don't know." Chay immediately said that to prevent

the two Teerapanyakul from fighting again "I don't know
what that means."

"My brother said, I have to ask the Great Omega." He

continued slowly. Don't you dare raise his head.

Macau is silent, Kim is also silent. And Chay would of

course be silent because neither of them gave any
reaction. And suddenly he wanted to cry. Was he rejected
by Macau and Kim?

Oh of course, where is there an Alpha who wants to have

a mate who doesn't even have a clear mate symbol like
him? The symbol is ambiguous, showing either Kim's
symbol or Macau's symbol. Both of them point to
different directions, showing how the two youngest
Teerapanyakul are indeed contradictory to each other.

"Hey it's okay we will ask Great Omega." Kim, who

realized that Chay was shaking slightly, finally
approached the omega, took his hand and stroked it
gently, reassuringly.

Treated like that finally Chay raised his head. Found Kim
who smiled gently at him. Meanwhile Macau didn't say
anything, only nodded slowly when Chay glanced at him.

Chay took a deep breath. At least, the three of them

already knew the current situation. And at least, the
three of them had agreed to find a solution together.

But still, there is one feeling stuck in Porschay's heart.

Why does his mate's destiny have to be like this? Why
can't he just have a normal story like most other people?

He got scared. Afraid that this is a bad sign.

Two days later, after the royal wedding which became a

happy day and a big festival day for the people of
Synnefo, Kim, Chay and Macau were finally back at the
palace. In a small meeting room because of their request
to meet the newly appointed Great Omega last night to
help solve their problems.

Problems regarding the symbol mate which involve the

three of them.

Chay sat up tensely and uneasily. His hands resting on

his knees and wringing the cloth of the pants he was
wearing today. While next to him, Kim and Macau looked
so relaxed. One was playing a game while the other was
reading the morning news.

Chay took a deep breath and let it out slowly. Is he the

only one pounding now? Why is his heart not calm like
this?

So to divert attention, Chay looked around this room.

This is a fairly small and private room. Maybe the
capacity is only a maximum of 10 people. On the left of
the room there is a bookshelf and ancient books that fill
the wall area. Meanwhile, at the end of the room, there
is a magnificent chair that seems to be the throne for the
Great Omega later. This room is colored gold, red, and
also a little black. So elegant yet gripping at the same
time. Making Chay instead of being relieved even more
pounding because of the atmosphere of this room.

So he finally decided to let out another sigh and then

leaned his back against the chair. Trying to relax while
still occasionally glancing left and right, alternating
towards Macau and Kim.

But that position did not last long. Because as soon as he

heard the sound of approaching footsteps, he finally
straightened his back again. followed by Kim and Macau
who also put away their cell phones. Then the three of
them immediately stood up as soon as the door began to
open.

"Kimhan, Porschay, Macau?! What are you doing here?"

Pete's startled voice was the first they heard as the door
to the room opened. Pete's face looked shocked and
surprised, but was immediately overtaken by their new
Great Omega who immediately shook his head trying to
control himself and changed his expression to calm with
a soft, charming smile. Even the steps that started to
enter the room were both firm and graceful, leaving
traces of elegance that the three teenagers could see.
Then sat on his throne at the end of the room. With one
very handsome Beta servant accompanying him on his
left.

"Your Majesty, Great Omega." After being given

instructions by Kim, the three of them finally bowed and
greeted Pete. Dan only straightened up when he heard
Pete accept their greetings.

"Congratulations on the wedding, Great Omega," Kimhan

added. Again only given a nod by Pete and then
instructed the three to come closer.

Kim, Chay, and Macau followed the instructions. He

walked closer to Pete and sat cross-legged in front of
him.

"So what is the need for two Alphas and one Omega to
meet me today?" he asked softly. The three glanced at
each other, then nudged each other. No one dared to
speak first. Until then Macau and Chay seemed to agree
to both looks at Kim. Making the oldest of the three have
to sigh.

He seemed to be the spokesperson this time.

He should now be able to attend with Kinn in a larger

meeting room. Face to face with the palace officials and

during these months. He should have been proud of his

"Oh?" Pete seemed to raise an eyebrow, starting to

understand where their conversation was going.
"..alright, explain."

And finally Kimhan explained everything. What happened

to the symbol mate that Porschay received, regarding the
ambiguous symbol indicating between his and Macau's,
as well as their confusion.

"Show it." That was Pete's final order after he finished

explaining everything. And finally, Chay complied, took
off the shirt he was wearing today then turned around to
show his back. Where is his mark mate is.

Meanwhile, Kim and Macau had to hold their breath

because suddenly the scent of Chay's Vanilla and
Cinnamon wafted out. The scent is so sweet and soft.

From his throne, Pete watched the symbol carefully. His

eyes were focused and his expression stiffened. And with
a hand gesture, he asked Kim and Macau to show the
same thing, showing their mate symbol behind their right
ear.

And indeed it is the same. The mate symbol on

Porschay's back looks like a combination of Kim's and
Macau's symbols. And indeed, the symbol is ultimately so
ambiguous.

"Enough." Pete ordered. Making the three of them turn

back to face Pete and also Chay who immediately re-
buttoned his shirt.

Pete's eyes looked dreamy, his head tilted to the right

and left slowly while his eyes looked out of focus on
something. It wasn't long before his left hand was raised,
moving slowly with a low incantation that Kim, Macau
and Chay could hear. Until then a large book from the
bookshelf in the room lifted and flew into Pete's lap.

The Great Omega's gaze returned to focus when the

book arrived in his lap. And slowly, he leafed through the
book, looked and noticed its contents. For a long time
the atmosphere in the room was silent and only filled
with the sound of paper being turned upside down
slowly.

"Nowhere in the history of Synnefo has anyone had two

mates." Pete spoke as soon as he finished confirming
what he was looking for in the book. He closed the book,
then handed it to Tem who had been standing next to
him to return it.

Pete's eyes looked straight back at the three teenagers in

front of him. With a serene smile and a firm chin raised,
he tried to find out the seriousness among the three
teenagers about their purpose here.

"Then what do you want me to do after this?" he asked.

Kim, Macau, and Chay glanced at each other again. Then

they both swallowed hard. Even though Pete was
someone they were quite close to, it turned out that Pete
in this position seemed like a completely different
person. The leader's aura was so strong, along with the
firmness and grace that came with it, as well as the
relentless charisma, made the three of them feel nervous
too.

"We ask for your majesty's advice for this problem. I

hope Great Omega is willing to give us a solution by
asking the Moon Goddess directly." Kim returned to be
the third spokesperson.

"Okay." Pete answered directly "But before I give a

solution, let me ask you a question. Are you, each of
you, willing to accept any risks and consequences, good
or bad that might be part of the advice I give? Are you
ready with all of that?"

And after making sure all three nodded, Pete nodded

back too. And now then close your eyes.

Moon Goddess, Moon Goddess. May you shed light on

this matter. May you show me the right way that I have
to say and I have to convey it to the servant in front of
you. May everything that comes from your mouth be a
blessing and a guide for us to act and not rely on our
own understanding.

Pete still had his eyes closed. It was then that he

suddenly saw a white light that enveloped his body,
forcing him to open his eyes and then showing his eyes
suddenly changing color. Gold on the right and blue on
the left. The eye color symbolizes the existence of Lune
and Val.

"Choose." Pete said firmly. "Choose what your heart

wants, choose what your body wants, choose your own
destiny, and choose everything according to your will. I
gave you the choice not to confuse you, my child. I gave
you the choice as a sign of the beginning of a new
agreement that I will make in this country. Choose, so
that I knew what would happen in the future."

The Moon Goddess, who spoke through Pete, instantly

changed the atmosphere of the room to become sacred
and full of wisdom. Not long, only a few seconds but
enough to make the three teenagers stunned. Even more
so when Pete closed his eyes again and then opened
them again and showed those gold and blue eyes that
had disappeared. Replaced with his usual brown eyes.

"You guys heard that right?" asked Pete to make sure.
