Scene 1:The College Meeting

Riya, a bright and lively student from a privileged background, meets Raj, an equally
intelligent but financially struggling student, during their first lecture.

Riya and Raj strike up a conversation in one of their lectures together and bond over
their mutual love for the subject.

Scene 2: Academic Partners

As the semester progresses, Riya and Raj become study partners, working late into
the night in the college library.

Narrator (Voiceover): In the world of academics, they found a connection that went
beyond societal labels.

Scene 4: The Realization

Riya's close friend, Priya, notices her growing fondness for Raj and becomes
concerned. Priya knows that society will never accept the kind of affection and bond
growing between the two of them. She talks to Riya about her concerns and tells her
that even though she supports her, she has to be mindful of her actions and be ready
to face the consequences.

Scene 5: The Conflict

Raj's best friend, Sameer, discovers the budding relationship and confronts Raj.
Sameer’s situation is the same as

Riya and Raj's relationship becomes public, causing a stir among their fellow

Riya asks Raj to come and talk to her parents once they graduate. She thinks that
once they graduated, her parents will surely consider letting her marry out of her
caste.
Riya’s parents kick Raj out of their house and Raj turns to his own parents to seek
approval for their marriage but to no avail.]

Raj’s parents get him forcefully married to a girl they find suitable. Under so much
pressure, Raj breaks and steels himself for the wedding. Riya finds out about the
wedding and is heartbroken.

She tries to meet Raj, keeps saying she has something to tell him- something urgent.
They don’t let her meet him. On the night of Raj’s wedding, Riya commits suicide.
