4. Methodology

Approach
Rac Networks applies the “Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement and operate” business model; meaning
that it accompanies the customer from the moment he decides to study a new project till this
project’s execution and maintenance.

We do that by having a team of account managers, presales engineers and consultants that come
together with the customer to develop and understand his needs and come up with the foreseen
solution as well as helping the customer in getting ready for the new project implementation.

Once a solution has been put and agreed upon by both parties, two options lay ahead:

In case the project includes hardware, the corresponding items will be ordered from the supplier and
our purchasing department will notify the customer of the “ETA” (Estimated Time of Arrival) and will
send order updates on a recurrent basis to make sure the customer is ready when the delivery is to be
done.

In case the project includes engineering services only, the technical manager will be notified and will
schedule the corresponding works at the soonest date with constant coordination with the customer.
Once everything is ready, the installation will be performed after an agreement between the
customer and Rac Networks on all the implementation details and prerequisites.

After the implementation and the signature of the project acceptance, it will be the responsibility of
Rac Networks Engineers to monitor the system operation and be an additional level of support on top
of vendor’s direct support.

Prepare Plan Design Implement Operate

1.1.1 “Prepare”: High Level Design

High Level Design will reflect the business need into a design document to be approved by the customer
to be developed in a later stage into Low Level Design that will be the base for the Call Center
implementation.

1.1.2 “Plan”: Operational Readiness Assessment and Gap Analysis

The Operational Readiness Assessment is conducted to identify if the customer's current operational
infrastructure (people, processes, and tools) is capable of supporting the proposed solution Obtain the
existing operational procedures and policies, and identify operations personnel and stakeholders for
interview.

Rac Networks will assess operational customer practices and Leading Practices gaps, and then
identify Gaps between Existing and Leading Practices.

Rac Networks will identify and document gaps between the customer's existing practices and
Leading Practices.

We will create a written plan to remediate operational issues.

 Review of Existing Process and Flows

Rac Networks shall gain a solid understanding of existing Process and Flows as noted in the
Operational Readiness Assessment.

 Review of Operation Design Document

Rac Networks will ensure the Operation Design Document takes into consideration the business and
technical customer requirements.

 Review of Remediation Plan from Operational Assessment

Rac Networks will ensure the Remediation Plan addresses issues within the Operational Assessment.

 Review of Existing Systems, Processes, Flow-through, Tools, People, Skills,

and Best Practices
As a sanity check, review existing systems, processes, flow-through, tools, people, skills, and Leading
Practices for the Unified Communications Solution.

 Methods and Procedures

Rac Networks will develop Methods and Procedures to ensure consistent implementation of the
solution.

1.1.3 “Design”: Low Level Design

In this phase we will start by a Project Kickoff, where our team will meet the customer’s team for all
project members to be introduced and get acquainted, during this phase we will start by preparing the
below deliverables.

Rac Networks and customer will discuss milestone dates, roles, responsibilities and any necessary
planning information.

Rac Networks will review all planning items to ensure accuracy, completeness, and availability as well as

This is the base of the whole project; once this phase is completed successfully the real implementation
can be started. During this phase we will be gathering all the customer requirements. The information will
help us generate a project plan, LLD Low Level Document containing all the configuration details to build
the solution as per the customer requirement; this document will include clear diagrams, device
configuration details, IP address, Policies…

Once the low level design is prepared, Rac Networks will present it to the customer to ensure it
meets all the customer’s business and technical requirements.

Upon agreement on the low level design, Rac Networks and the customer will sign an agreement
letter or a letter of understanding on the project’s deliverables.

1.1.4 Implement
Once the LLD is signed and approved by both parties, the engineers will start the implementation as per
the Low Level Design.

The project manager will be following up very closely on daily basis to make sure everything is within the
timelines.

By the end of this phase we will agree with the customer on a testing period to make sure everything is
operational as requested.

1.1.5 Operate
In the operation and optimization phase, Rac Networks will help achieve the below:

 Improve system service quality, reduce disruptions, prevent outages, and remediate system
availability problems through systems monitoring

 Maintain high availability, reduce the risk of network downtime, and increase the reliability
and stability of the network and applications by managing incidents and problems

 Reduce operating costs by providing a framework for making changes in a consistent,

efficient, and accountable manner

‫ﺗﻌﺪ ﻫﺬﻩ ﺍﻟﺸﻬﺎﺩﺓ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻟﻮﺛﺎﺋﻖ ﺍﻻﻟﻜﺘﺮﻭﻧﻴﺔ ﺍﻟﺤﻜﻮﻣﻴﺔ ﺍﻟﺮﺳﻤﻴﺔ ‪ ،‬ﻭﻳﺤﻈﺮ ﻗﻄﻌﻴﺎ ﺗﻘﻠﻴﺪﻫﺎ ﺃﻭ ﺇﺩﺧﺎﻝ ﺃﻱ ﺗﻌﺪﻳﻼﺕ ﻋﻠﻴﻬﺎ ﺳﻮﺍﺀ ﺑﺎﻹﺿﺎﻓﺔ ﺃﻭ ﺍﻟﺤﺬﻑ‬
‫ﺃﻭ ﺍﻟﺘﻐﻴﻴﺮ ﻓﻲ ﺑﻴﺎﻧﺎﺗﻬﺎ ﺃﻭ ﻏﻴﺮ ﺫﻟﻚ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻧﻮﺍﻉ ﺍﻟﺘﻌﺪﻳﻞ ‪ ،‬ﻭﺗﻌﺪ ﺍﻟﺸﻬﺎﺩﺓ ﻻﻏﻴﺔ ﺇﺫﺍ ﺷﺎﺑﻬﺎ ﺷﻲﺀ ﻣﻦ ﺫﻟﻚ ‪ ،‬ﻛﻤﺎ ﺗﻌﺮﺽ ﺻﺎﺣﺒﻬﺎ ﻟﻠﻤﻼﺣﻘﺔ ﺍﻟﻨﻈﺎﻣﻴﺔ‬
‫ﺃﻣﺎﻡ ﺍﻟﺠﻬﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻤﺨﺘﺼﺔ ﺑﺎﻹﺿﺎﻓﺔ ﺇﻟﻰ ﻣﺎﻳﻔﺮﺿﻪ ﻧﻈﺎﻡ ﺍﻟﺘﺄﻣﻴﻨﺎﺕ ﺍﻻﺟﺘﻤﺎﻋﻴﺔ ﻣﻦ ﻋﻘﻮﺑﺎﺕ ‪ ،‬ﻭﻻﻳﺠﻮﺯ ﺗﺪﺍﻭﻝ ﺍﻟﺸﻬﺎﺩﺓ ﺇﻻ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻷﻏﺮﺍﺽ ﺍﻟﺘﻲ‬
‫ﺃﺻﺪﺭﺕ ﻷﺟﻠﻬﺎ ﻭﻓﻘﺎ ﻷﺣﻜﺎﻡ ﻧﻈﺎﻡ ﺍﻟﺘﺄﻣﻴﻨﺎﺕ ﺍﻻﺟﺘﻤﺎﻋﻴﺔ ‪ ،‬ﻭﺍﻟﻤﺆﺳﺴﺔ ﺍﻟﻌﺎﻣﺔ ﻟﻠﺘﺄﻣﻴﻨﺎﺕ ﺍﻻﺟﺘﻤﺎﻋﻴﺔ ﻏﻴﺮ ﻣﺴﺆﻭﻟﻪ ﻋﻦ ﺃﻱ ﺁﺛﺎﺭ ﺃﺧﺮﻯ ﻣﺘﺮﺗﺒﺔ‬
