The figure above shows the input-process-output (IPO) model that is adopted by

the researchers for the study. It entails the details of procedures that will be used in

gathering information and data in identifying the "Impact of Financial Management

Strategies on Profitability on Small Business Ventures".

For the input, it illustrates the demographic profile of small businesses including

the years in operation, capital, profit and type of business. it also aims to identify the

performed financial management strategies in terms of internal control, capital

management and financial literacy of small businesses as well as its impact on


profitability in terms of forecasting, cash flows and sales, the relationship of financial

management and profitability and lastly, the enhancement that may be developed based

on the results of study.

The process includes the preparation and the distribution of the research

questionnaires to its selected proponents, the presentation and analysis of the data

gathered and statistical treatment that will be used in the study.

For the output, it partakes the action taken after the corresponding analysis of

the data has been gathered. The researchers will determine and develop strong

financial management strategy practices that would enhance the profitability of small

business' ventures and conceptualize recommendations that would help in providing

valuable insights for more strategic financial planning.
