 ANALYSIS
1. The Miyawaki concept is a cost intensive project , thus R & D is being done to adapt it to
Indian scenario by the Prayas foundation by the name – Prayas One.

2. Though Miyawaki offers scope for vast Biodiversity , but doesn’t have the room for
incorporating non native trees.

3. After the minimum maintenance period of 3 years is over , cases show the deterioration &
mortality rate in trees. The Aurangabad forests are yet to give results on that.

4. The forests are all being developed on government land , and no private players have yet
come up. This implies that the social responsibility is still lacking.

5. The team of Prayas has no parameters yet to scientifically prove on paper the varied positive
environmental impacts these projects make at micro & macro level .

6. Survey shows that the local nursery owners have their part of dissatisfaction towards the
activity conducted.

7. The plantation happens at a mass level , but in the run for survival of the fittest , many trees
fell causing loss to nature & human efforts both.

 ANALYSIS
1. The certification was done in 2016 (Green Homes version 2.0) , but since 2019 the version
3.0 has amended certain criterion.

2. Owing to the loopholes in the document , the parameter for design for Disable users seem
to be tweaked.

3. The spaces are well lit with natural light, while the later construction on lands in the West
side have affected the light in the Guest room .

4. The Biodigester , was currently in non working condition owing to certain unavoidable
reasons.

5. If the documentation for certification is kept transparent and open for access , shall benefit
relevant people.

6. The project clearly depicts the undeterred efforts made by the architects to contribute to
the environment.
