Festival in Šoporňa

Every citizen of the small village Šoporňa is genuinely glad when the eagerly-awaited festival finally
takes place in August. The event is being held in a little-known village called Šoporňa. This type of
festival is traditional for every Slovakian village. It's a time when the village celebrates.

This year, it was organised so satisfactorily that you could pick and choose among many activities.
There was something for every age category. From 2 pm to 10 pm, there were carousels, which were
enjoyed the most by the kids and teens. But adults weren’t bored either, they had the opportunity to
participate in the cooking of the goulash, seeing everyone be so competitive was so thrilling. What
was enjoyed by many people were the performers, who appeared on the stage. Horkýže slíže which
is a band that headlined the festival, definitely appealed to an audience. Their show was such a
fascinating experience, although there were so many people it was hard to get a good vantage point.

What is valued about this festival is the organisation. They managed security, and for most of the
people this was such a relief. Not to mention that they provided amazing catering service, there was
so much to choose from.

What I really liked the most about the festival was the party, which happened after everyone
appeared on the stage. It was so energetic, everyone was dancing and having the time of their lives.

I can only recommend this festival. As I mentioned before it was organised so well and there was
such a good atmosphere. If you are a first-time goer, I recommend you visit the carousels and the
party.
