Introduction
This introspection is meant to emphasize the process of acquiring information that I
underwent. After finishing the promotional model for the chosen organization, I engaged in
some introspection and self-analysis, which led to these remarks. In this introspection, I will
detail not only the difficulties I faced but also the many wonderful chances that came my way
along the path I just described.

The insights gained by focusing on a single area of expertise

From the perspective of management scholars, marketing is the most important field of study.
How to get your product or service in front of consumers is the focus of this discussion. Many
different concepts, from CRM to consumers' motivations for making a purchase, may be linked
to marketing. The term "marketing" refers to the complete procedure, from making the sale to
following up with customers after they've received their orders. This topic is essential to
management, hence it is taught from the very beginning of management education. The field of
marketing studies is the most sought-after subfield within the management curriculum. Statistics
show that positions in marketing management are in the top tier of employment opportunities
(marketingweek.com, 2022). In addition, the paper demonstrates why marketing is one of the
most sought-after subfields within the study of management. Everything else is somehow
connected to the calculative and numerically-oriented fields of finance and accounting. Human
resource management is another area of expertise that is crucial to a company's success and is in
high demand from customers. Management is my favorite field of study since it is the only one
that directly addresses the most important aspect of every business: its clients.

Difficulties and delights of the highly specialized field

Understanding consumer habits and buying tendencies is crucial to marketing. Research is also a
part of the topic since demographics are often used to glean insights about customers' tastes and
preferences. Human contact is also a key component of the marketing discipline, since
highlighting the advantages of a product or service is often required. The field of marketing is
one of the most exciting and comprehensive in the business administration curriculum. It is
possible to tailor one's marketing efforts toward turning a certain individual into a paying client
by altering the promotional material and approach.
The fact that this kind of advertising can only reach one individual at a time is a major drawback.
Every effort is made to get your marketing message out to as many individuals as possible all at
once. The most popular kind of advertising, mass marketing relies on broad demographic appeal
rather than targeting individual consumers (Candelo, 2019). Mass marketing is costly, but the
cost per person may be decreased if the target audience can be accurately estimated. Customized
marketing costs less overall, but it can only reach one individual at a time. The marketing
manager's job is to figure out which of these approaches is best suited for a certain product or
service.

The BA track I chose and why I picked it

It's no secret that I like marketing over all other subfields of business administration. So, it's no
surprise that I went along the "Marketing" career route. Human behavior, or customer behavior
to be more precise, is at the heart of marketing's focus. One who is well-versed in marketing and
customer behavior will be in a prime position to help drive business. Sales growth like this has
the potential to improve bottom-line results and forward expansion plans. From the point of view
of a firm, its ultimate goal is to expand and grow. In a firm, human resources are concerned with
the employees, whereas accounting is concerned with the money. When compared to HR and
accounting, which mostly interact inside the company's internal setting, marketing often interacts
with external customers. All of the marketing's focus is on issues external to the company. Due
to the fluid nature of human nature, marketing must also address the most difficult and most
complicated aspect of managing a corporation. For these reasons and more, I find marketing to
be a very interesting and crucial field.

Competencies learned throughout the first year that may be used afterward
I learned the fundamentals of business administration, including the terminology and concepts of
marketing. Later in life, I was able to pursue a career in marketing because of the information I
had learned and my interest in the field. Communication, sometimes called the "spine" of
marketing, is essential to the success of any business (Bayazovna, 2020). The fact that I am a
gregarious person means that I was able to establish a solid support system from the very
beginning of my academic career when I first started making acquaintances. Since I was young, I
understood that the primary focus of management is on fostering leadership, therefore I made it a
practice to take the initiative on my own will whenever possible. This selfless action is indicative
of strong leadership. I also demonstrated and developed creative abilities when working on tasks,
skills that might one day help me create compelling advertising that stands out from the crowd.
My desire for excellence led me to double-check my work and make necessary adjustments even
when I wasn't being supervised. What this exemplifies is my meticulousness in the quest of
excellence. All of the knowledge and experience I gained throughout my freshman year will
serve me well in my professional career as a marketer.

Abilities that are currently lacking and need to be cultivated

To be successful in marketing, you need a wide range of abilities and expertise. Since marketing
as a whole is so broad, the breadth of expertise needed to tackle its many challenges is equally
considerable. I already have a number of abilities that make me a good marketer, but there are
many more I need to hone to become really proficient in the field. From a business standpoint, a
wide variety of recently developed abilities are urgently needed nowadays. Because of the
worldwide acceleration of technological change, specialists with technical knowledge are in high
demand. The ability to promote products and services online is crucial in the current business
climate (Key et al., 2019). One who does not adapt to become more tech-savvy is expected to fall
behind in today's competitive corporate world. Data analysis and analytics are only two of the
technological skills I'll need to build for my future career. Having this technological proficiency
is crucial in today's corporate world. In data analysis, the data is first inspected, then
transformed, and finally arranged (Sharma et al., 2019). Due of their importance in the modern
workplace, these are two abilities I am eager to cultivate.

Conclusion
This whole reflection is just a personal remark regarding the concentration I choose in my first
year of business administration school and why I picked it. I detailed every ability I've gained
and everyone I still need to hone as a result of studying marketing.
