The pulmonary circulation system carries unoxygenated blood from the body to the lungs
from the superior and inferior vena cava to the right atrium to the tricuspid valve, then to
the right ventricle to the pulmonary valve to the pulmonary artery where the blood
becomes oxygenated and moves to the systemic circulation system which begins at the
pulmonary veins to the left atrium to the mitral valve to the left ventricle to the aortic valve
to the aorta to the veins of the body.
