Welcome, our guest is illustrator and videographer Alexander Khlivnyuk. Alexander came for a reason :) And he brought
with him a very useful Adobe Illustrator lesson for beginners: how to draw a Wi Fi icon. For which we will say to him all
amicably tremendous thanks.
To complete this tutorial, you will need some basic Adobe Illustrator skills. If you just opened Adobe Illustrator a couple
of days ago, then the first step is to take the course "Learn Adobe Illustrator in 30 days!" , and then already start this
lesson. If you have any questions, you can ask them in the comments to the article.
So let's go. Click on the images in the lesson to open them in full screen.
Next is another 460x460 px. Make sure they are vertically and horizontally centered to each other. If you can't draw
them evenly, then use the Align panel to align .
Select everything (Ctrl + A) . Go to Object> Blend> Blend Options to customize the transition.
Select Specified Steps from the dropdown menu and set the value to 2, click OK.
Then go Object> Blend> Make .
Then select the bottommost object in the group (this is our future point) and extract it from the group by dragging it up
in the Layers panel .
And for the rest of the group of rings, apply a 30 px Stroke along the inner edge. Click Stroke in the information bar to
access the stroke settings.
Next go Object> Expand Appearance.
Now let's draw a triangle, the vertex of which goes through the center of our point. Use the Pen Tool .
Select the triangle and circle group and hit the Crop button in the Pathfinder panel .
Here's what happened. You just need to go to the group and do a "cleanup" there, removing unnecessary contours. You
can also run the Object> Patch> Clean Up command to clean up the artwork automatically.
It remains to swap the stroke and fill at the central point.
Next, you can add colors and gradients . Or, the Wi Fi icon can be colored quickly and easily using graphic styles.
