- The happiest period of Rizal’s life was
spent in this lakeshore town.Town of

resources with.

FORCED LABOR (POLO Y SERVICIO)

Compulsory labor imposed by the spanish
colonial, filipino males from 16-60 years old
were obligated to render forced labor for 40
days a year.

ECONOMIC CONTEXT

GALLEON TRADE- one of the earliest global

trade in the pacific. Gold and silver were
transported west to manila in exchange for
porcelains, spices etc..
