The load introduced through the landing gear will be considered as an instantaneous load effect seperate
from the wing lift which will be balanced by the Horizontal tail.

Any translational and rotational accellerations about the aircraft Center of Gravity will be solely due to the
loads developed at the landing gear.

Assuming a constant force response from the gear modified with an efficiency factor:

Estimating the Landing gear atrike at limit level


Strut Stroke
Total Gear Stroke = 12.5 in (including 1in tire deflection)
Substract 1in at the strut for ultmate stroke margin
Total Strut Stroke = 11.50 in
Divide by 1.5 to get to limit LG stroke
= 7.67 in

Assumed Oleo Strut efficiency factor:
