UK university studied six art related subjects in 2011. These six art related subjects are
linguistics, philosophy, English language and literature, history and archeology, art and design,
and communication and media stud.

According to the given information, it’s clear that English language and literature are mostly
preferred by female students, nearly 250, among six di erent art-related subjects. For looking
at other subjects linguistics, communication and media stud had nearly the same number of
female students.

For the most part, it’s clear that female students covered the majority except art and design
subject; art and design subject had between 150 and 200 students of male students and nearly
150 female students. For looking at the english language and literature it’s clear that this
subject had a di erent distribution from the other ve subjects, for example, the English
language and literature subject had nearly 250 female students on the other hand, the history
and archeology subject only had nearly 100 female students
