How to prepare for a

Mould Removal Treatment
Before Treatment
• If mould is present behind furniture such as beds
or dressers please move these so the space is
easily accessible. Please note that we only need
you to move furniture if there is visible mould
growth behind the item. In most cases, furniture
doesn't need to be moved. MouldMen Technicians
will only move furniture if you are present.
• Any clothes, towels or linen that have visible
mould on them should be removed from
cupboards and be washed or discarded at
your discretion as we do not treat these items.
What happens on the day?
• We will re-inspect the property upon arrival to
ensure all mould-affected areas are identified.
• We will discuss with you what's needed for
our Technicians to secure the property when
the treatment is completed.
• The property will need to be unoccupied for
the duration of treatment and for 3 hours after.
• All surface mould growth is treated and
removed.
• All doors and windows leading outside are
closed and the fogging treatment is completed.
