After completing this study, I could say that education, distance and religion play a
major role in selecting a partner. All four couples have completed their education. 7 out
of 8 partners said that distance played a role in choosing their partner. 8 out of 8
partners said they have the same religion and culture. Also love made the couples
attracted to each other. Also social values and political views impacted their decision in
choosing their partner as in the time they all got married, it was in the 1900s. So after
completing the study and checking the results, it is clear that things like age, race, social
foundation, religion, physical attributes, likenesses, and schooling all assume a part in
selecting a partner. Even though I did not ask if financial reasons impacted the couples
in choosing each other, I am most certain it did. Once more, this study has its cons
since I only surveyed 4 couples. If I had surveyed more than I probably would have
resulted with a different outcome.
