Managing Minor Degree Registration by Student

Introduction

Students opting for B.Tech Minor needs to make a Minor Registration Request. The
request can be recommended by the Staff Advisor and then approved by the College.

Adding the Minor Degree Request


To add a Minor request, the following steps are to be followed by the student.
• Go to Student → Minor Degree

1.Here the student can see all the branches offered by the college that are applicable
for the student.
• Add the minor degree request by selecting a basket against the branch offering
the minor.
• Accept the declaration (by ticking the box) to submit the request.
• To view the Minor course details, click the "Minor Course Document" link.
2.The confirmation message will asked when the request is submitted, click on “Yes”
to submit the request.

3. The student can see the ‘Submitted Successfully’ message once the "Submit"
button is clicked.
After successful submission, the student can see the minor request details.

5.If the staff advisor revokes the request for any corrections, the student can make the
changes and request again. The student can see the reason for the cancellation as
shown above.
6.If the student request is recommended by staff advisor , the student can see the
status “Minor Degree Request Recommended by Staff advisor.

7.If the student request is approved by college after recommendation by the staff
advisor, the student can see the status ‘Minor Degree Request Approved by College’.
