Leadership &

Management
in the
workplace
Introduction

Management involves the act of directing and overseeing one or

more teams involved in productive endeavors. A key aspect of
successful leadership is the ability to convince others to support the
objectives of an organization. The fundamental difference between
leaders and managers lies in their inherent motivation. In this
presentation, we will be focusing on PepsiCo as a case study.
Developing of motivational strategy to
optimise organizational performance

 Managers and other leaders have the responsibility

of determining the most effective approach to
motivate their employees among a variety of
methods available. Once they have identified the
optimal strategy, they must implement it in order to
achieve desired outcomes.

motivation
within the workplace. At Pepsico, both process
and content theories can be implemented to
enhance the quality of production for the
strategy betterment of employees, while the latter theory
can be utilized to strengthen the company's
existing management structures. Therefore, in
order to accomplish its objectives of achieving
high performance and continuous growth,
Pepsico must develop an effective strategy that
actively engages its workforce (Sara Eisenberg,
2021).

their employer. This emphasizes the necessity
of fostering a management culture that is
both supportive and inspiring.

Additionally, PepsiCo should regularly assess its performance in
comparison to other companies to adapt its leadership and
