Problem-01:
Create two files in SPSS as given below:

File1:

1. Gender: 1-> Male, 2 -> Female, Enter data of 15 values


2. Section: 1-> BBA1A, 2-> BBA1B, 3 - > BBA1C, 4 -> BBA1D, Enter data for 15 values
3. Brand_preference: 1 - > Sony, 2 - > Samsung, 3 - > Apple, 4 - > Oppo 5 - > OnePlus, Enter data
for 15 Values
4. Expenditure: It’s a scale variable, Enter data for 15 respondents

File2:

1. Marks: Scale variable: Enter data for 15 respondents


2. Income: 1 - > less than 10000, 2 - > 10000 – 20000, 3 - > 20000 – 30000, 4 -> 30000 –
40000, 5 - > more than 40000. Enter data of 15 values
3. Expenditure: It’s a scale variable. Enter data for 15 respondents

Problem-02:

1. Using the data given in problem-01 Merge these two files into one file using Add Cases and
Add Variables.
2. Write down the steps for Merging these files
3. Attach screen shots of File-1, File-2 and Merged file. (Give Figure numbers and refer them in
the steps)
