SHAF GL Journal AME Changes

Created a new condition for user MADEMOYE

Navigation: Home->Approvals Management Business Analyst

Select the Transaction type as GL Journal Approval

Select conditions

Click on create

Create Condition as below

Condition Type: Ordinary

Attribute: TRANSACTION_REQUESTOR_PERSON_ID

TRANSACTION_REQUESTOR_PERSON_ID: Ademoye, Mutiu

Click on Apply.

Click on Rules
Select SHAF_GL_JOURNAL_RULE and click on update.

Add the above condition to the Existing Rule SHAF_GL_JOURNAL_RULE

Update existing condition GL_JOURNAL_CATEGORY in (Adjustment, Manual Entry, Other, Recurring,
Spreadsheet) by adding ‘Manual Entry’ to String values.

Navigate to conditions
Select GL_JOURNAL_CATEGORY in (Adjustment, Manual, Other, Recurring, Spreadsheet)

Click on Update

Click on plus symbol in string values add Manual Entry to String values.

Created a new condition for 'GMWANGI', 'MASWANI' users.

Navigate to conditions and click on create

Condition Type: Ordinary

Attribute: TRANSACTION_REQUESTOR_PERSON_ID

TRANSACTION_REQUESTOR_PERSON_ID: Mwangi, Gerald Ngubia

Click on apply and create another condition

Condition Type: Ordinary

Attribute: TRANSACTION_REQUESTOR_PERSON_ID

TRANSACTION_REQUESTOR_PERSON_ID: Aliongo, Mathew

Created new rules for 'GMWANGI', 'MASWANI' users

Navigate to Rules
Click on create

Create new rule with below details

Name: SHAF_GL_APPROVAL_MASWANI

Rule Type: List Creation

Item Class: Header

Priority: 1
Click on Next

Add the condition created for User MASWANI

Click on Next

Add Action with below details

Action Type: approval-group chain of authority

Action: GL _Journal_Approval
Click on Next and review the details entered

After reviewing click on Finish and new rule is created

Now create new rule for user GMWANGI

Create new rule with below details

Name: SHAF_GL_RULE_GMWANGI

Rule Type: List Creation

Item Class: Header

Priority: 1

Click on Next

Add the condition created for User GMWANGI

Click on Next

Add Action with below details

Action Type: approval-group chain of authority

Action: GL _Journal_Approval
Click on Next and review the details entered

After reviewing, click on Finish and new rule is created.

New Rule for GL Approval is created for Users MADEMOYE, MASWANI and GMWANGI.

Updated condition for GL Category (GL_JOURNAL_CATEGORY in (Adjustment, Manual Entry, Other,

Recurring, Spreadsheet)) to add Manual Entry.

Created New Rules: SHAF_GL_APPROVAL_MASWANI, SHAF_GL_RULE_GMWANGI.
