1. This picture was taking while I was having a free shot on the 8 meter against Guilford.

The ball probably didn’t go in and unfortunately we lost that game. We could have won
but we just didn’t show up to the game with 100%. We are currently 8-3, so we have
qualified for States. The team this year is young but we are strong and I’m proud to be a
captain for this team. We are family.
2. This picture was taking when the 2015 LAX captain were named. The 2014 LAX
captains are passing the touch down to us to continue on leading the team and continuing
on the tradition of BHS Lax.
3. This picture was taking before we earned our field hockey coach her 500th win of her
career. She is the first coach in CT to earn 500 wins. We played SHA and I scored 2
goals. After the game we swarmed our coach because of all her accomplishments and we
were so proud of her. I am very happy to be a part of her 500th win and help give it to her.
4. Before the field hockey season started, the captains organized a beach day with the team.
This was a good team bonding experience and let everyone get to know each other and
feel comfortable together when the season starts. This helped us to have a strong
connection together on and off the field which made us unbeatable. The bond we had was
unbreakable.
5. For my senior capstone I created a shopping event. I was in charge of the marketing and
advertising. One of the advertisements that I did was have an article and a picture of me
in the online newspaper called “ZIP06.” This attracted many shoppers to my event,
especially the older crowd. It was very helpful and beneficial.
6. I AM OFFICIALLY A PROVIDENCE FRIAR!!! I will be attending PC for the next 4
years and I’m really looking forward to it. Out of all of the colleges that I’ve looked at I
felt that Providence was home. When I visited it over the fall that was the first time that I
felt like “Wow I love this place and I can see myself here.” From there on out I was set
on going there so I am finally following my dreams.
7. Juicy is not only my dog but she is my best friend. She is now 7 years old…or 8, I lost
track. We got her on Christmas Eve back in fourth grade. She is truly a member of this
family. Mom always says that she is number 1.
8. My sister got married and had a kid all in 1 year. This year a lot changed. I didn’t handle
it well. I was jealous because none of the attention was on me and I wasn’t ready for such
big changes. I liked out small family and it just grew so much within just a few months.
However, I’m happy if my sister is happy and I love my little baby nephew so much!
9. Field Hockey season was interesting. We weren’t as strong this year which kind of sucks
because it was my senior season and it ended just so quickly. However this photo shows
me breaking some Mercy girl’s ankles by my moves.
10. This photo is a picture of my family, Emma and Autumn. For field hockey we do this
thing called big sister little sister. I chose these two not so little freshmen as my sisters
this year and I couldn’t be happy with the relationship that I have with them. We literally
act like sisters that live under the same roof. I love them and I’m sad to leave them
behind.
