5. Checks for pulse (no more than 10 seconds)

6. Gives high-quality CPR

A. CORRECT COMPRESSION: Hand placement 2 hands on the lower half of the breastbone (sternum)

B. ADEQUATE RATE: at a rate of 100-120BPM (SONG STAYING ALIVE)

(i.e., delivers each set of 30 chest compressions in 18 seconds or less)

C.ADEQUATE DEPTH: Delivers compressions should be at least 2 inches (5 cm) to no more than 2.4
inches (6 cm)

D.CHEST RECOIL: Allows full recoil of chest after each compression; do not lean on the chest after each
compression

E. MINIMIZIES INTERRUPTIONS: Limits interruptions in chest compressions to less than 10 sec

8. 2nd Rescuer AED skills Evaluation and Switch

During this next phase, evaluate the 2nd rescuer's ability tow rescuers' abilities to switch roles.

7. DURING FIFTH SET OF COMPRESSIONS: 2nd rescuer arrives with AED and bag - mask device, turns on
AED, and applies pads. (ITO YUNG PARTNER MO GAGAWA TULOY TULOY PARIN CPR MO)

8. FIRST RESCUER continues compressions while 2nd rescuer turns on AED and applied pads (DITO
TULOY PARIN CPR)

9. 2nd Rescuer clears victim, (IM CLEAR ALL CLEAR. SHOCK DELIVERED)allowing AED to analyze--
RESCUER SWITCH ( IKAW MAG AMBUBAG DITO )

10. If AED indicates a shockable rhythm, 2nd rescuer clears victim again and delivers shock

C. FIRST RESCUER BAG-MASK VENTILATION (same dito kasi nagpalit na kayo kaw na mag ambubag)

During this phase, evaluate the first rescuer's ability to give breaths with a bag-mask

11.Both rescuers resume HIGH-QUALITY CPR immediately after shock delivery

2nd Rescuer gives 30 compressions immediately after the shock delivery (for 2 cycles)

1st Rescuer successfully delivers 2 breaths with bag- mask after (for 2 cycles)

After the 2 cycles, Stop the evaluation

12. Gives information about victim to EMS rescuers ( tell details sa EMS example, patient aniken

13. Removes gloves properly without touching the outside of the gloves with bare hands (wag

14. Places disposable PPE in a biohazard bag. (Wag to kalimutan)

15. Applies hand sanitizer (Wag to kalimutan)

16. Places victim in a Recovery Position (RIGHT HANDS UP, LEFT HAND INTO CHEST, RAISE LEFT KNEE
THEN PULL TO THE SIDE)
