There is growing concern about how these developments will damage the environment as
the world's economies converge more and the global economy expands as a result. In reality,
there is a lot of debate in the policy community over how globalization and the environment

acknowledged that globalization can be connected in some manner to the widening gap between
the global rich and the global poor in recent years. It compares these meta-narratives to another
spatial ontology of regulation produced by the economy of international flows and networks—a
developing heterarchical order that operates in a topological, hybrid, decentred, and coalitional
manner.

Political globalization has a negative and considerable effect on economic growth in
upper middle income countries. Moreover, the effects of economic and social globalization on
economic growth are minimal. Also, globalization in its whole and politics have a positive and
statistically significant impact on economic growth in developing nations with lower middle-
class incomes, but social and economic globalization components do not.
