Embark on Clara’s Journey this Holiday Season

Sit back and enjoy a dynamic and mystical evening of ballet with Butler Ballet’s take on
Tchaikovksy’s The Nutcracker.
About the Performance
At her family’s Christmas party, Clara is
gifted a magical nutcracker by her Uncle
Drosselmeyer. After falling asleep with the
nutcracker in her arms, she begins to dream
through the Kingdom of the Sweets. Follow
Clara as she encounters the Rat King, The
Sugar Plum Fairy and more.

Support Your Local Artists

The students of Butler Ballet and Butler
Symphony Orchestra have been hard at work all
semester in collaboration with the Indianapolis
Children’s Choir conducted by Richard Clark to
put on the show this year. This hard work has
given all of you the unique opportunity to see
this classic work by members of your own
community! Allow these familiar faces to
impress and mesmerize you with their talent and see that their efforts have paid off.
The Pointe Shoe Fund
Did you know that a pair of pointe shoes only lasts a dancer 2-4 weeks and costs an average
$120 per pair? This can be a serious financial burden for students.
This year, we would like to present each of our graduating seniors
with a new pair of pointe shoes before rehearsals start for our
production of Cinderella in the spring. You can help support these
dancers by donating to the The Pointe Shoe Fund today.

Where Can I Purchase Tickets?

You can purchase tickets at The Butler Arts and Events Center Website. The show will run from
November 30 to December 3 in Clowes Memorial Hall.
