Terms and Rates for Assembly Work

Valid from 1st August 2020 to 31st July 2021

1. Our fitters have a normal working week of 35 hours. Any working time above this limit is considered
to be overtime and will be invoiced at the overtime rates in force in the German metalworking industry.
Travel time, waiting time, preparation time and cleaning time are all regarded as working time. It is
agreed that on lengthy assembly projects the fitter shall be granted one paid home journey per week.

2. Fitters receive clear assembly guidelines from the factory for the assembly of our plants. If the
customer issues different instructions, the risk shall pass fully to the customer. Our fitters are allowed
to carry out essential modifications to third-party equipment only if so instructed by the customer or
his agent.

3. Assembly work is guaranteed in accordance with our Terms of Sale and Delivery. It should be noted
in particular that we accept no liability for consequential damages.

4. The completion of assembly work must be confirmed for the fitter on the fitter's work hours card.
Assembly materials will be invoiced according to the quantities actually used.

5. Any irregularities must be immediately clarified with the fitter. Later complaints cannot be accepted.

6. Our fitters are unable to make any price agreements.

7. All customer service work, including guarantee-related services, will be performed only upon receipt
of a written order; oral orders must be confirmed in writing.

8. It is our responsibility to determine the personnel required for the assembly work and to decide on the
means of transport.

9. All other issues shall be governed by our Terms of Sale and Delivery, which form a part of these terms
of assembly.

10. If special fitters from subcontracting companies are used, their rates for assembly work will be
acknowledged by the customer.
