QUÁ KHỨ TIẾP DIỄN

I. Cách sử dụng
- Thì quá khứ tiếp diễn diễn tả:
+ Một hành động đang xảy ra trong quá khứ
Eg: Bằng giờ này ngày hôm qua, bi đang đi chơi
At this time yesterday, Bi was playing
II. Công thức
(+) S + was/were Ving + O
(-) S + was/were not Ving + O
(?)
Yes/no: Was/were (not) + S + Ving + O?
WH: WH + was/were (not) + S + Ving + O?
III. Trạng từ
- At this time/ at this moment + yesterday: bằng giờ này ngyà hôm qua
- Mốc giờ trong quá khứ: At 7 oclock yessterday, At 8 pm last Monday,…..
- In + năm quá khứ
- When : khi
- While: trong khi
IV. Lưu ý khi sử dụng thì Quá khứ tiếp diễn
- Thì quá khứ tiếp diễn hay được dùng đi kèm với thì quá khứ đơn.
 Hai hành động song song xảy ra trong quá khứ: cả 2 đều chia thì quá khứ
tiếp diễn và đc nối bằng “ while”
Eg: At 8 p.m yesterday, Duong was doing homework while Nguyen was
watering the plants
 Một hành động đang xảy ra ,hành động khác chen vào trong quá khứ

Quá khứ tiếp diễn Quá khứ đơn

Eg : When she was playing piano, someone went inside the house.
