Product Description
HYPERSELF is a self adhesive membrane manufactured
to meet the highest international standards. It is
topped with a cross-laminated polyethylene sheet
providing superior puncture and damage resistance.
Hyperself membranes need to be topped with a
protective screed or reflective coating, if required to
protect from harmful UV radiation.
Uses
● Ideal for waterproofing basements with horizontal or
vertical underground structures, insulation
systems or multi - level floors, tunnels, terraces, flat
/ sloped roofs, etc.
● Recommended as anti-corrosive tapes.

Application
Surface Preparation
Any substrate should be cleaned to remove all dust,
foreign matters, loose materials or any deposits that
affects bonding. The surface is first cleaned to eliminate
all sharp projection. Any surface defect should be
repaired and should be smooth prior to application of
Hyperself (self adhesive) membrane.
Application procedure
Before application, the surface should be primed with
a single coat of Coldstick R Primer. The substrate is
allowed to dry for 30 minutes till it becomes touch dry.
After application of primer, Hyperself membrane is
unrolled over the substrate from the lowest point and
to work upwards. Care must be taken to ensure that
counter-gradient overlaps are not created. For more

Finally, Hyperself Membrane applied substrate can
be topped with a protective screed.
Coverage
IWL’s Coldstick R primer: 3-4 sq.m. / Litre on a
standard smooth surface.
Limitation
● Smooth and clean surface is required to apply the
membrane.
● Not s u i t e d f o r p a v e m e n t s , as the membrane
is unable to bear loads.
Packing
IWL’s Coldstick R primer : 20 litre Container
Hyperself Membrane is supplied at 1.00 to 2.00
mm thickness. Also, available with varying thickness
and weight as per customer requirement. For
special applications, it is supplied with release paper
on both sides.
Storage
To be stacked in horizontal form in pallets with
maximum height half meter with a maximum time of
six months from the date of manufacturing, in
complete pack. Store in a cool and dry place.

Safety Precautions

Coldstick R is flammable. Wear protective gloves

for hands and goggles for eyes. Any splashes of
primer on the skin / eyes should be washed
immediately with clean water. In the event of
prolonged exposure, seek medical attention.
Hyperself Membrane should be preferably stored in
a dry and covered place.
