Dear Sir,

DISABILITY ETIQUETTE TRAINING FOR BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS

We are a service provider company and are establishing ourselves as a leading brand in the social
development sector, promoting the inclusivity of persons with disability in the work place.

Presently we are the only service provider company in Lesotho that has taken the initiative to
enlighten company management and staff on the problems persons with disability encounter, and
we wish to propose a series of presentations to you and your staff to promote the culture of
disability etiquette in the work place.

The presentations will provide a basic understanding of the concept of disability etiquette and will
make employees feel more comfortable when interacting with co-workers and supervisors with
disabilities and can help awkward situations. Good disability etiquette can also expand business
opportunities and help organizations serve customers more effectively.

Disability etiquette refers to respectful communication and interaction with people who have
disabilities and the basic principles are fairly simple, but still need to be highlighted to those who do
not have any disability at all. Our presentations will encourage employees to interact with people
with disabilities and guide them to behave in the same courteous and respectful manner that they
expect from others.

We are a team of two persons, one of whom is a young woman who has to use a wheelchair
because of a debilitating spinal injury caused by a car accident. We therefore have first-hand
experience on the problems and obstacles encountered by persons with disabilities.

To conclude, your company is one of the most reputable organizations in Lesotho and we believe
that by taking the initiative to foster a disability inclusion strategy, your image as a caring
organization committed to social development and customer care will be enhanced.

We look forward to hearing from you and to discuss the possibility of you considering our proposal
for disability etiquette presentations in order to foster a disability inclusive culture.

Yours Sincerely,

Mothepane E. Hlaoli
Director
