When you make a sigil
with your own energy, it
responds best to you. You
can tailor personal sigils
to fit your exact needs.
Sigils are magical symbols that have a specific purpose.
They have the power to attract, repel, and charge. Use
sigils for easy, on-the-go magic.
ACTIVATION
When using sigils to repel or banish, the original intention
of the sigil must be forgotten or released. This is so the
symbol itself becomes charged with the intention, allowing
it to manifest. The best way to do this is to have faith in
your sigil and intention, to let go of it, or destroy/hide it.

people use the same sigil or
spell, it often becomes charged
with the energy and faith of
those people.
ENCHANTING & CHARGING
You can enchant objects, people, places and tools by
writing sigils on them. With this method of sigil magic, you
don't need to destroy or release the sigil to activate it. By
writing, carving, or painting the sigil onto an object, you are
giving it a task - therefore activating its magical purpose.

Methods of Destruction
Use these methods to activate your sigil by
means of destruction or release. If you choose to
release your sigil in nature, be sure that you use
biodegradable materials. Don't litter!
Burning
Burn a sigil when you want your intention to be
sent out into the world (use a bay leaf for extra
manifestation power). Visualize the flame
carrying your message to spirit and the universe.
Water
Soak a sigil in water until the ink dissolves to
represent a problem being drowned out. Or, let
your sigil float away in a river or creek and
visualize Mother Nature receiving it.
Burying
Bury a sigil in proximity to its purpose. A
protection sigil could be buried outside your
front door to protect your home. A banishing
sigil could be buried deep in the woods to keep
negativity away.
Hiding
If you don't want to destroy your sigil, or you
want it near you, hide it somewhere relevant. A
sigil for safe driving could be put under your
driver's seat. A sigil for sleep aid could be
hidden under your bed.
Writing
Write your sigil on your skin or another surface
that wears down ink over time. The sigil is
released when the ink has faded away.
