Sara was walking her dog in the park one morning when she ran into Roger.

She hadn’t seen Roger for years, since they had broken up.

They had dated for only six months in 2013, but Fernando had left her for a
reason she had never discovered.

So, today, when she was walking in the park, she was very surprised to see
Fernando.

Helen: “Hi, Fernando!”

Fernando: “Oh, hi Helen. It’s been a long time. How are you?”

Helen: “Oh, I’m so well. I was just walking my dog in the park.”

Fernando: “What have you been doing the last few years?”

Helen: “Oh, you know. The usual things. I’ve been working, traveling, studying.
Normal things that everybody does. And you? What have you been doing?”

Fernando: Oh, not much. I’ve been living with my parents this whole time.”

Helen: "Are you working?”

Fernando: “No, I’m not. I’m looking for a job. The company I was
working for closed last year.”

Helen: “Well, that’s interesting,”

Fernando: “So… Do you want to go get a coffee? I have some time before I go
home.”

Helen: “No, thanks, my mom is waiting for me at home. I’m going to

make lunch. It’s good to see you, though.”

Fernando: “It’s good to see you, too.”
