    Mangyan are found on the island of Mindoro. One of their


    practices is giving offerings to the spirit believed to be the
    guardian of their natural resources. They also believe that
    selected elder have the power or gift to talk with spiritual
    guardians of natural resources. They are also tied up with
    sounds principles because they believe that chirping of the
    birds and the sounds of lizard have menings on whether
    goodluck or badluck is fourthcoming.
