WAITING LIST FOR NAAN MUDHALVAN UPSC PRELIMINARY

SCHOLARSHIP EXAM – 2023

Tamil Nadu Budget 2023 (para 38) has announced a scholarship of

Rs.7500 per month for 10 Months for 1000 Candidates, who are preparing for

UPSC Preliminary 2024 with the objective to reverse the declining trend of Civil

Service Exam results from Tamil Nadu.

To meet the above objective, Selection list for the 950 Regular and 50

Fresher has been published on 27.09.2023 & 05.10.2023 and called for certificate

verification. During verification process some of the candidates failed to meet the

eligibility criteria as mentioned in the Naan Mudhalvan UPSC Prelims Scholarship

Exam Notification Dated on 01.08.2023, to fill up the vacancy waiting list has been

prepared.

The following is the Waiting List for the Regular & Fresher Category

who have been provisionally admitted to Certificate Verification for the

Naan Mudhalvan UPSC Prelims Scholarship 2024, based on the results of the

written examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu Skill Development

Corporation on 10.09.2023 AN.

The Certificate Verification for the selected Waiting List candidates

will be held on 03.11.2023 (Friday) at Tamil Nadu Skill Development

Corporation Office.
Certificate Verification Venue:

Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation,

1st Floor, Employment Office, Alandur Rd,

Thiru Vi Ka Industrial Estate,

Guindy,

Chennai.

Note:

1. *A Fresher candidate is the one who will be giving his/her first attempt

for UPSC Preliminary Examination in 2024 and must have attained the

age as follows

Minimum – 21 years

Maximum - 22 years** as on 1st of August 2024.

(**Age Relaxation is applicable for the candidates who are graduated

in Medicine, 5 years Integrated course, Veterinary Science etc.)

2. This is only a provisional list whereas the final selection of the

candidates will be based on complete verification of certificates.

3. Naan Mudhalvan shall not be responsible if the communication does not

reach the applicant due to incorrect / invalid e-mail ID or mobile number,

or if there is a failure or delay in delivery of SMS / email to the candidates

due to any reason including technical issues. Any representation from

the candidates regarding non-receipt of SMS or email will receive no

attention.

4. The candidates whose registration numbers are found in the list below

have been provisionally admitted to the Certificate Verification based on

the marks obtained by them in the scholarship examination and also

duly taking into account Tamil Nadu Reservation Policy of Education.

 5. The admission of candidates to the Certificate Verification is provisional

subject to verification and acceptance of claims as made in their online

applications regarding Age, Educational Qualification, Communal

category, Experience, Differently Abled category etc., through original

documents.

6. If any of the candidate’s claims are found to be false or incorrect, their

online applications will be rejected, their provisional admission to

Certificate Verification will be cancelled and they will not be admitted to

the next stage of selection.
