INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES

1. Candidates may please note that they have been admitted “Provisionally” to the examination, subject to the conditions
specified in the advertisement. At any stage, if the candidate is found to have misrepresented the facts or have concealed
any information, his/her candidature may be rejected.
2. Candidates should bring their Admit Card alongwith a valid photo identity card in original (Eligible photo identity proofs
such as 1. Passport, 2. Aadhaar Card/Print out of e-Aadhaar, 3. Driving License, 4. Service ID Card issued to employees by
Central Govt./State Govt./ PSUs, 5. ID Card issued by University/College/School, 6. Voter’s ID Card, 7. PAN Card, , 8. Any
other Photo Identity Proof issued by Central Govt./ State Govt.).
3. If the photograph of the candidate is not clear/absent/very small in the Admit Card, then the candidate will have to bring
two passport size photographs.
4. Candidate COVID-19 Self Declaration is not required.
5. Candidates should reach the examination hall at least 45 minutes before the start of examination and occupy their
designated seats.
6. The candidates will be allowed in examination centre from 09:00 AM to 09:30 AM. Late entries will not be permitted.
7. This examination consists of Computer Based Test (CBT) having 200 Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs). The duration of test
is 3 hours.
8. Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
9. Calculators, cell phones or any other electronic gadgets, books, notes, etc are strictly prohibited. No eatables will be
allowed in the examination hall. Any candidate found either copying or receiving or giving assistance will be disqualified.
Any malpractice in the examination shall attract action that is deemed as fit by the invigilator.
10. A blank A4 size paper shall be provided at the centre and the candidates may do any calculations if required, on the blank
sheet provided.
11. The Candidates will have to follow the instructions of the Centre in-Charge and the invigilators at all stages of the
examination. Violation of such instructions may lead to disqualification and expulsion from the examination centre.
12. NO REQUEST FOR CHANGE IN TEST DATE/ CENTRE/ VENUE WILL BE CONSIDERED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.
COVID-19 INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES

FSSAI will implement social distancing norms during the conduct of its Computer Based Examinations in adherence to the Govt.
of India guidelines in the present scenario of COVID-19 to ensure health and safety of the candidates. Candidates are required
to adhere to the guidelines for social distancing and hygiene in their own interest. The candidates are required to follow the
following instructions:

1. The candidate shall wear face mask and bring a small bottle of hand sanitizer.
2. On reaching the examination venue, candidates are advised to follow social distancing norms and maintain distance of 6 feet
between two candidates.
3. Facility for hand sanitization will be available at entry gate and also inside the examination venue. All candidates are
required to sanitize their hands.
4. Contactless candidate verification will be conducted by flashing of admit card and valid Photo ID proof at Document
Verification desk.
5. Candidates with fever, cough etc. will be allowed to appear in the examination in a separate / isolated sitting arrangement.
6. Candidate may also use hand gloves at their discretion.
7. On completion of a shift, the candidates will be permitted to move out in an orderly manner – one candidate at a time.
