The thing that makes the speech effective is that her speech matched the occasion.
She did not change the topic and was focused on it. She was not offensive and was cautious about her
words. The delivery was also clear. She also knows when to say heart-full and honest words for her
mother and to switch it to jokes to lessen the negative and sadness because I am sure that her
mother did not want to see the speaker hurt that she has passed away. And she included some
personal and wonderful stories about her mother when she was with her. I don’t have a lot of things
to improve in the speech because I can feel the love that she emphasizes while speaking about her
mother. But I guess I would improve it with hand gestures so she can attract more attention, but
regarding the topic and the emphasis on the topic and the way she talks she already attracts attention
because of her wise, funny, and heart full words.
