Subject: Notification: Grade Point Definition for 1st Semester Fall 2022

In order to streamline the fresh semester with the Academic Calendar, issued by the Registrar
Office and to conduct final exams on already notified dates, it is decided that no Mid-Term
examination would be conducted for semester1 for undergraduate and post graduate programs.

In the absence of Mid-Term examination, following revised percentages of sessional and final term
will be followed in FOST for semester 1.

For Undergraduate Programs:

a. Sessional 50%
i. Quiz 20%
ii. Assignment 15%
iii. Presentation 10%
iv. Class Participation 5%
b. Final 50%

For Postgraduate Programs:

a. Sessional 50%
i. Quiz 15%
ii. Assignment 15%
iii. Presentation 15%
iv. Class Participation 5%
b. Final 50%

It is mandatory to conduct 4 quizzes and 4 assignments during semester.
