Utilization of Evaporating Air Cooler with Thermoelectric Peltier Cooler

(Dave Lester Berina)

A review of the literature on "Performance Improvement of Thermoelectric Air Cooler System by Using
Variable-Pulse Current for Building Applications" examines the most recent developments and studies on
improving the effectiveness and efficiency of thermoelectric air cooler systems in building applications by
utilizing the novel approach of variable-pulse current control. This review aims to offer a thorough
understanding of the major factors influencing this advancement, including the fundamental concepts of
thermoelectric cooling, the application of variable-pulse current, design considerations for the system,
improvements in energy efficiency, and potential advantages for building climate control. By exploring
these topics, this study hopes to highlight the exciting potential of variable-pulse current technology for
improving thermoelectric air cooler systems for environmentally friendly and cost-effective cooling
solutions in buildings.
An in-depth analysis of the most recent developments in cooling systems that use Peltier thermoelectric
modules to control air temperature is covered in a review article on thermoelectric air conditioners
employing Peltier modules. These systems have attracted a lot of interest because they have the potential to
offer more eco-friendly and energy-efficient alternatives to current air-conditioning techniques,
revolutionizing the industry as a whole. This review aims to provide a thorough analysis of important
factors, such as the basic principles of thermoelectric cooling, the choice and optimization of thermoelectric
materials, system design, energy efficiency, real-world applications, environmental implications, difficulties,
and bright prospects for the future. This review study seeks to illuminate these features in order to highlight
the revolutionary potential of thermoelectric air conditioners in the field of contemporary cooling and
climate management.

Design and Implementation of an Automatic Ceiling Fan using Infrared Motion Sensor
(Jojie Butil & Herald Cris Andrei Peralta)

Studies featuring motion-detecting electric fans have been conducted in recent years. In one study,
researchers utilized "two PING))) ultrasonic sensors as motion detector; Arduino Uno as a microcontroller;
one IR sensor as to detect the presence of human in vicinity; a servo motor to turn the fan to the right or left;
and a DC motor to rotate the fan." (Fan, Razak, Mohayadin & Othman, 2019). The researchers came across
multiple challenges in the development of their study. These include problems with the coding of their
ultrasonic sensors and the insufficient power voltage of their motor driver. Despite their initial shortcomings,
they were still able to successfully create a fully functional prototype.

Development of a Low-Cost Fingerprint and RFID Locking System with Smart Attendance
Management System using Facial Recognition
(Mark Bryan Garcia & Ivory Parel)

This study presents an overview of the study on RFID biometric enabled dual system architecture which acts
as a smart and digitized banking vault door locking system. The proposed system is novel, multipurpose and
provides three levels of security. It is based on locker automation using RFID technology and software
Android App technology that allows access only to the authorized owner of the bank vault to open it.
Despite the legacy key system, the overall control of electronic smart door lock system utilizes the RFID
tags via NFC, biometric traits via web portal and mobiles via Bluetooth as the procedure for authentication.
Our proposed RFID technology-based access control authentication mechanism utilizes low cost irrevertible
functions to control the vulnerable security attacks.
