Preparation of Land:

6. After cutting each side of leaf should get 1 day of sunshine
7. After that put it in ditch securing the side to save it from mud
8. Keep it in ditch from 8-15 days
9. For 15 days it should be in 2 phases of 8 and 7 days

Note: The soil will lost its fertility and there may be degradation with time so it should be cultivated in
the plot where you are not planning to grow any specific crop that may need extra fertile land.

Tobacco usually requires an average of 1 in. per week of water for good growth.
