pushing into or removing from the construction foundation by driving, pressing or shaking.
Typical Hazards
1- Typical hazards:
Man-machine joint work in a narrow space,
Working with heavy loads,
Inability to recognize frequently the structure of foundation (bearing strength, existing facilities,
installations or other obstacles),
Noise.
2- Report hazards and take precautionary protection measures.
Before Starting Work
3- Discovery at the construction site:
Are there any cables, sewers, and transmission lines in the work area that may pose a danger?
Is the construction area free from toxic waste and explosive materials?
Is the ground structure capable of bearing heavy construction machines?
4- Arrangement of the construction ground;
In accordance with the discovery results,
When necessary, by relocating, closing, covering or securing the existing networks,
By identifying and marking traffic passages and storage areas,
By preparing a work plan, it is carried out.

31- Secure the boring elements against falling over the entire working period (e.g. safety belts and straps, fasteners,
ropes etc.).
32- If spigot chains or clamps are used for the transportation of light driving elements, the conditions of use should be
described in the operating instructions (e.g. maximum load, size and shape of the hole, daily shift checks).
33- Before starting to drill, check that the eyebolt that connects the water cap and rope is screwed tightly and fully, the
water cap is fully connected to the rod, and that water does not leak from the water cap seal. If the water cap is
leaking water, stop boring and replace the water cap and tightly screw the eyebolt bolt that fastens the cap and rope.
34- Do not use twisted and bent rods in boring.
35- Check the conformity of the rod diameters, machine jaws. Thin rods can be broken down during drilling.
36- When the rod set is pulled up to the top of the drilling rig to remove the rods, do not make braking the rods
remaining in the bore hole with the pipe wrench. Use mechanical braking device.
37- Warn your assistant not to touch the drilling set without the machine is stopped while the rods are installed and
removed. Do not give the recirculating water to the boring line or move the spindle unless your assistant tightens
the rods and moves away from the location.
38- Check the regulating valves and water pressure, wait for the water pressure to drop before the rod is removed.
39- Secure the drill rammer and shaker against falling down.
40- If the area of the boring assembly is entered in relation to driving work, take mechanical barricade measure
(limiting with piles, stopping device).
41- Mobile cranes (if it is foreseen by the manufacturer to be used in accordance with the rules) can be used as a carrier
in the extraction works.
42- Take into account the high noise when standing near the shaking tool and the rammer:
43- Eliminate avoidable noise sources. (For example, vibratory link chains)
44- Use suitable ear protectors.
45- Use electrically non-conductive rubber boots and gloves when placing anchor bolts.
46- Get regular workplace occupational health examination services.
47- Never touch electrical lines or boards.
48- Be alert for the danger of the electrical cables coming into contact with puddles in the work area and in such cases,
immediately stop the machine and warn the workers, inform the electrician to ensure that the current is cut off.
49- Leave the electrical works to the electrician.
50- Ensure the surrounding of the drilling and boring location kept constantly dry.
51- Surround the drilling pool with safety strip, provide lighting so that it can be seen at night.
52- After the drilling and boring is finished, the location should be cleaned before leaving and the drilling mud deposit
in the pit used as a pool should be taken and properly packed and sent to the waste storage area for disposal
accordingly.
53- The drilling well (borehole) must be filled and closed before leaving.
54- Do not leave the machine without stopping it.
55- When refueling, stop the machine and do not smoke around during refueling.
