Ikram Alghiffri's goal was broken through by Oldemar Castillo in
injury time before halftime.

Only in the second half, Indonesia was able to reply. Arkhan Kaka
Putra was able to tear Panama's goal with a header, changing the
score to 1-1. The score lasts until the game ends.
This result made Indonesia score two points from two matches.
Meanwhile, the hosts are in third place in Group A, behind Ecuador
(4) and Morocco (3). Meanwhile, Panama is bottom with one point.

Next, Indonesia just has to face Morocco in the third match of

Group A of the 2023 U-17 World Cup. Victory is a fixed price for
Indonesia if they want to qualify for the next round.
Indonesia had difficulty facing Panama from the start. Bima Sakti's
team lost control of the ball in the first half.

Too much pressure meant that Indonesia could only rely on

counterattacks. Some experiments were also executed too hastily,
resulting in wasted opportunities.

Ji Da Bin and Kafiatur Rizky fired several shots, but the direction was
not clear. Indonesia was quite frustrated in the first 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, Panama, which had the advantage in possession of the
ball, also had difficulty executing its attacks. Several hasty finishes
resulted in wasted chances.

Until finally, Panama got a goal before halftime. Oldemar Castillo

took advantage of a mistake from Indonesia's back line to tear the
hosts' goal. The 1-0 score lasted until the break.
In the second half, Indonesia made several changes. One of them
included Amar Brkic, replacing Jehan Pahlevi.

Several changes looked effective, until finally Indonesia scored the

equalizing goal. Arkhan Kaka was able to equalize the score at 1-1
in the 54th minute.

Starting from set pieces after Habil Akbar was fouled, a free kick
was taken. The ball was then countered by the Panamanian
defense and landed at Welber Jardim's feet. The Brazilian player
then crossed from the right, and Arkhan was able to hit it with a
header.
After equalizing the score, Indonesia looked enthusiastic. Several
opportunities were obtained, including through Iqbal Gwijangge's
flick in the 82nd minute. Meanwhile, Panama also didn't want to
lose, creating several opportunities before normal time ran out.

Entering eight minutes of injury time, Indonesia also threatened

several times. However, no more goals were scored, the Indonesian
U-17 vs Panama U-17 National Team ended in a 1-1 draw.
