Mental Health Awareness Seminar (MHAS 2023)

Purpose
People often suffer in silence and do not seek treatment for their conditions
due to misconceptions and stigma surrounding mental health issues. Education is
important ways to remove the stigma associated with mental illness, this Mental
Health Awareness Seminar provides an opportunity to start a conversation. Talking
openly about mental health can help to reduce stigma and misconceptions, as well as
encourage those who are suffering to seek help and find a support network. This
seminar is a critical initiative for increasing understanding of mental health
conditions and increasing access to healthcare for all the students and specially for
those in need.
