Man is born of woman is few days and full of troubles.

He comes forth like flower and full of

fades of fades away. He flees like a shadow and does not continue. (Job 14:1-2).

I find it extremely painful paying a tribute to a dear husband who was always there when I

needed him near me, but through this pain I take consolation in the fact that Mr. Asamoah

my husband is with the Lord and we will one day meet again in eternity.

I met my husband (Ike) as I affectionately call whiles he was a National Service Personal at

Amanteng Secondary School at Amanteng Borno Ahafo Region. The Methodist Church,

Mampong Ejura Sekyedumasi through Amanteng Circuit, was holding a camp meeting at

Amanteng. We got married on 4th April, 1996. My husband Mr. Asamoah was loving, kind,

generous, honest and compassionate. From the day we got married, my husband has not just

been a good husband but an angel from God. He has been a father, a brother, a friend, a

teacher, a doctor even a lawyer and everything to me. I remember when I was working with

Sekyedumase Rural Bank, the management terminated my appointment for a couple of

months. My husband stood up and fought for me without the knowledge of my family.

When we were at Krofrom, I was transferred to Ejura they summound the house while I was

away, my name was mentioned in the court room and my husband stood in place of me and

fought a good fight. Because of his boldness everything was resolved.

The evening of 2nd July, 2023 happened to be my last interaction with you and you showed no

sign of leaving me. He was a man of integrity and always does whatever comes in mind with

hesitation. He made sure his family and everyone around him was happy. He thought of

others before himself. He stood up for people anytime and any day. He was a father of many

children, because of the way he was with everyone around, he stood in as a father for brother

Dickson Duah a Policeman at Accra. He also stood in as a father for Brother Francis Ayiku

Ocansey and a few others. He has done a lot for his family and people around him.

Mr. Asamoah loved his children Akwasi, Fosuah, Obiaa, Owuraku and others.
He provided them all their needs. Who now will I share my grievances with? Who will

encourage and advise me? The vacuum your death has created can never be filled but I am

satisfied that you ran the race well, you have kept the faith and have served your maker. Your

church, state, family and friends and now you are with the Lord.

I perfectly agree with the words of Apostle Paul in Romans 14:7-8. For none of us lives for

himself and none of us dies for himself. For if we live, we live for the Lord and if we die,

we die onto the Lord.

What saddens my heart even more is your absence in the house when everyone leaves. I am

used to you and everything about you especially arguing about politics when watching

movies.

May the angels lead you to the bosom of the Lord and savior Jesus Christ and we shall meet

again in Glory.

Amen.
