My education as a communication major and experiences in writing, strategic
communication, brand development, social media management and community
relations will make me a qualified candidate for this position.

I have worked as the content curator of the Clarion store and movie theater to engage
students with the PennWest brand. I utilized platforms such as Instagram, Facebook,
and TikTok to increase awareness. Along with this, I have managed the social media
accounts of the mascot. In addition, I took a photography class which allowed me to
learn the concepts on an intermediate level and apply my skills within these jobs.

To demonstrate further, I have attended thePitch competition in Pittsburgh, PA. This

collegiate advertising competition allowed me to collaborate with other students to
create a communication campaign to present to a nonprofit organization. Also, I have
taken an Integrated Communication Campaigns course that allowed me to create a
plan for a local business in the Clarion area.
