I am applying for the position Corporate Brand Management Intern (Job ID: 524145BR) position, which I
accessed on March 28th via the career section of your website. I am currently enrolled at California State
University, Northridge (CSUN) with a major in Marketing and a class standing of Junior. I have a number
of skills, which include excellent presentation and communication skills, as well as a vast knowledge of
using both PowerPoint and Excel.
This position caught my interest because I have always imagined working in a large and successful
corporation, and The Walt Disney Company is exactly that, having large subsidiaries such as Marvel
Entertainment, Touchstone Pictures, Pixar, and Lucasfilm, just to name a few. Also, I have a strong
background in the entire Microsoft Suite having taken two college level courses specializing in it.
Recently, I also completed an analytical statistics project in Excel where I was required to use a set of
data to create multiple graphs and charts. I am also excellent at writing and giving presentations; I have
taken a college level public speaking class in which I had to use PowerPoint as part of my presentation.
Also, I previously delivered a sermon to my church, which I formulated using my own thorough biblical
analyzation.
In addition, I can take on and successfully complete multiple rigorous tasks, as noted by the fact that I
graduated high school and also received my associate’s degree in General Studies at the same time by
being enrolled in both high school and college. I also have an extremely strong work ethic. I was awarded
the 2017 Work Ethic Scholarship by the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce. My youth, along with my
maturity and experience in an office setting via an internship with the City of Lancaster: Economic
Development, is sure to bring a meaningful new perspective to your projects.
