6. Promotional Strategies

In promoting a seminar, it will be posted through different social media applications such
as Facebook, X, Instagram, and different various channels with the complete event
details including the time and the date of the seminar. With the influencer speakers that
the event has, it could create a great promotional strategy because of the large number of
fan bases of Nina Ellaine Dizon and Camille Trinidad. Influencer marketing uses given
ideas and endorsements from well-known content creators to increase brand
awareness. By collaborating with influencers, you may reach a specific group of potential
consumers who both want and need to pay for your product directly. This could easily
help the event to increase the number of attendees. For the attendees that will attend
the seminar event, the hosts will give E-Certificates to all who can attend that have a
recognition certificate that they attended the event that can be used for school or
business purposes. Below is the example of promotional strategies that we will
incorporate:

Promotional materials:

● Pubmat

One of the primary promotional materials for the webinar is the Pubmat. The Pubmat
emphasizes the important details needed, including the date and time of the webinar. The
registration link is also visible for the participants to sign up without a hassle. Bright colors
and a bold font style are utilized to capture the audience's attention and to make sure it is
clear to read.

7. Logistical Considerations

The “marketing for startups” seminar will be conducted online through a zoom meeting
platform. This is also to cut off additional costs such as the venue and accommodation
costs. Aside from it being cost-effective, it is also convenient for the participants as they
can join the meeting with the comfort of their homes (Canapii, 2022). The webinar is
also expected to have 300 participants. It will be administered next year on January 13,
2024, Saturday at 1:00pm to 3:00 pm. This is to give an ample amount of time for
preparation. The webinar details would then be posted on social media and a
registration link will be provided since we only have a limited number of participants.
Alongside this, we will also have QR codes for faster registrations.

Event Organizer: The webinar itself will be organized by Ms. Angel Plagere, Ms.
Patricia Oarde, Ms. Blessel Nayo, Mr. Lawrence Uy and Mr. Julianno Rafols.
Considering that we’re all marketing majors and the seminar is intended for marketing
as well.

General Instructions:
1.) Register in the google forms provided 2-3 weeks early prior to the date of the
event.
2.) Wait for the confirmation email, if received, click accept.
3.) The zoom meeting link will be sent through their gmail accounts.
4.) Join the meeting 15 minutes earlier and standby.

8. Engagement and Interaction

In order to keep the audiences interested, a few activities will be conducted during the
webinar.

● Breakout session and group discussion:

Institute of Accounts, Business and Finance

A group interactive discussion will take place in the midst of the guest speakers’
presentation about choosing the right social media platforms to penetrate. This process
is encouraged to let the audience showcase their point of view.

General Instructions:
1. The participants will be divided into groups and will have designated breakout
rooms.
2. A specific time frame will apply to give the groups ample time to share their
thoughts.
3. After 15 mins, the groups will automatically return to the webinar to discuss their
learnings.

● Individual Activity:

Before the question and answer, a few participants can join to create a witty marketing
strategy that will emphasize and align with their future business goals. This engagement
will allow the guest speakers to give feedback and guide them into achieving it. In addition
to that, the facilitators will award the best participants with GCash.

● Live Question and Answer

By the end of the presentation, a live question and answer will take place to entertain a
few questions from the participants. This engagement will help the guest speakers relate
their stories to the audience and dive deeper on their real-life business-related
experiences.

9. Evaluation Methods

a. Online Post Seminar Survey Questionnaires - Upon registration for the said
event, the organizers will ask for the attendees’ contact information whereas the
organizers will deploy the link for an online survey.

The questions will be composed of the following:

2. Do you find it useful? And what was the most significant part to you?
3. In the future, would you be willing to attend another seminar from us
again?
4. Will you recommend attending our seminars to your colleagues and
friends?

b. Offline Help Desk for Attendees - To cater to a wide age group, the organizers
will be giving away their contact number wherein the attendees can send them
messages for further questions about the seminars, inquiries for future seminars,
and clarifications.

c. Attendee Engagement During the Seminar - The organizers may measure its
success through observation of interactive listening, asking of questions, and
complete participation in activities.

10. Conclusion and Takeaways

The webinar/seminar "Marketing for Startups" is a well-prepared and planned event

intended and designed for the ambitious, idealistic, and entrepreneurial individuals in the
new business industry. It is all about educating and preparing business enthusiasts and
entrepreneurs with useful, effective methods. Instead of just providing information, we
want this event to be more interactive. This Webinar/Seminar understands and
recognizes that the target market is diverse, or we call it different, ranging from young
people with high dreams to future entrepreneurs taking their first big actions into the
business world. The approach of this event mixes with scientific theory and with practical
applications in a hands-on and interactive environment. This seminar/webinar highlights
and focuses more on the digital techniques that dominate today's marketing environment
in this world, which makes it more than just a series of lectures and presentations, but it
is a fun, interactive, engaging learning experience for the participants that are joining this
seminar/webinar.
