plot. Hidden Figures explores the biographies of three African-American women who
worked as computers to solve problems for engineers and others at NASA. For the
first years of their careers, the workplace was segregated and women were kept in
the background as human computers.

Together these women crunch the numbers that are critical for the space program’s
future. In spite of their important roles in the entire program, the women are forced
to submit to humiliating forms of segregation including separate rest and dining
areas miles from the main office

.‘ In my opinion Hidden Figures’ reflects the hard truths of society, and I admit it’s one
of the best films I’ve ever watched about the empowerment of women. The movie
tells the true story of three women working at NASA using computers, and they
were involved in a project the United States was competing on called Project
Mercury., I mentioned the human computer above. To be honest This was the most
amazing thing I learned in the movie. In the middle of the movie, I noticed the fact
that men and women in the non-digital era were called computers in order to get
out of the manual calculation of engineers.

You should definitely see this movie. Together these women crunch the numbers
that are critical for the space program’s future. In spite of their important roles in
