Sixteen water quality parameters were measured including temperature, pH, colour, total dissolved solids, suspended solids, ammonical nitrogen, chloride, sulphate, chemical oxygen demand, oil and grease, phenolic compounds, sulphide, and biochemical oxygen demand. The results are within standard limits except for parameters such as total dissolved solids and chloride which exceeded the permissible limits. The tests were conducted according to standard methods by various employees of the water quality testing organization.
