The Magic of Maple

Once upon a time, the beginning of the world started with the birth of Mother Nature. One
of her most important creations was the trees. Mother Nature created each tree with a
special magic to aid the lives of animals. Each magical tree possessed an ability such as
providing flowers, fruits, air, light, or life, and none of them could
exist without strength.
One day, a rumor spread in the forest about a tree that had lost
its power because he wasn’t made to assist, so Mother Nature
removed the existence of that tree. All the trees grew worried
about the little ones that were supposed to be prepared for
obtain their power in the summer season.
The next day, everything was ready for Mother Nature’s arrival,
and the little trees were anxiously waiting for her. Suddenly, she
arrived at the ceremony. ‘’My dears’ trees, today marks an
important event because the summer season is coming, but
something special came,’’ she said. ‘’Today I will select just one tree to grant a special power,
and probably you might wonder why. Today, one of you will get a new ability,’’ Mother
Nature said.
Mother Nature touched the roots of each tree, but nothing happened. She asked if
someone had missed the ceremony. Suddenly a little tree named maple stepped forward.
‘’Miss Mother Nature, you didn’t touch my root,’’ Maple said. Mother Nature touched her,
and a light began to shine through her roots. ‘’Oh, my little tree you are the chosen one,’’
she said. ‘’Now, you will have one of the most important creations I made.’’
After some the days, Maple felt uncertain because nothing seemed to change, and people
started spreading rumors that she was not made to help like the other trees, so she tried to
hide herself. One day, while Maple was cropping her roots, some ants approached her.
Instantaneity, a syrup came up of her roots. Everyone was surprised by this power because it
became part of world’s history.
Every animal desired to find her and experienced taste of the maple tree. Maple started to
feel happy and grateful of being the first magical maple tree of the history. Eventually,
happily ever after Maple was. The end.
