Dear Dr. Moody,

I am writing to express interest in a therapy training position at your Columbus, OH location. I

discovered The Emily Program through a loved one who made a full recovery because of this
incredible program. As a social work graduate student at Ohio State University with several
years of experience in providing compassionate healthcare services, I believe I would be an
excellent fit for this role.

My educational background in psychology has equipped me with extensive knowledge in the

disorders you treat, and my social work education has given me a culturally responsive approach
to therapy. I would love to further my knowledge in eating disorder treatment and the common
co-morbidities to strengthen my skills as an eating disorder therapist post-graduation.

My experience working as a dietary aide in an assisted living facility demonstrates my ability to

provide quality care for vulnerable populations in a compassionate manner. In this role, I gained
the skills to monitor eating behavior and nutritional risks as well as collaborate with the nurses to
ensure that the residents are receiving quality care. These skills as well as the ability to
personalize care for individual needs will be beneficial to the therapy training position. As a
pharmacy technician, I have gained a working knowledge of the medication commonly
prescribed to the clients I would be working with in this role.

I would love to receive training at The Emily Program specifically because of your well-rounded
approach to eating disorder treatment and wide range of treatment options. It would be a
wonderful opportunity to work alongside physicians, dieticians, yoga instructors, and other
therapists to provide the level of care that clients need to recover. I have attached my resume and
