Note: 1) Self-service system is employed at the dining hall.

2) Breakfast is served upon signing at the cashier.
3) After last orders at each meal, you cannot receive service at the cafeteria.
4) Please do not take tableware and seasonings back to your room.
5) Room service is not available.

Meal Card

At the time of check-in, the Front Desk of JICA Kansai gives you a Meal Card.
The Meal Card is credited with total value.
This total is \700 × the number of nights you are scheduled to stay at JICA Kansai.
Please note that the amount will be subject to adjustment in cases if there are changes
made to the period of stay.
1) The Meal Card entitles you to receive meals at the cafeteria of JICA Kansai.
2) No alcoholic beverages can be purchased with the card.
3) The Meal Card does not have a fixed daily spending limit and it is your responsibility
to budget carefully the amount given to you by JICA, but please note :
(a) that any balance exceeding the total credit amount entitled to you will be
charged to you at the time of check-out, and
(b) that any balance remaining at the time of check-out will not be reimbursed
to you.
Please note that you can not use the Meal Card on your departure day.
4) In case you make an excursion away from JICA Kansai, you must return
the Meal Card to the Front Desk. At the time of your coming back to JICA Kansai,
you will receive it at the Front Desk.
5) At the time of check-out, you must return your Meal Card to the Front Desk.
6) The Meal Card is valid only at the cafeteria of JICA Kansai and invalid at other JICA
international centers.
7) The information on balance of your credit is available at the Front Desk to check
if adjustment to your credit is necessary or not.
3. Front Desk (Reception) Service
Front Desk (Reception) Service is available from 07:00 to 23:00 daily.
Dial 2100 when you want to reach the Front Desk during the service hours.

South entrance/exit : 08:00 - 21:00
※ When you have to leave earlier than 07:00 and also to come back later than 23:00 to
JICA Kansai, please inform of it to the Front Desk.
(Mail Service)
Incoming letters and parcels sent to the attention of JICA Kansai are handed over
to the participants at the Front Desk. Stamps are available.
(Valuables)
A small safe is equipped in the wardrobe of each room, however JICA does not assure you
of its safety. You may leave the valuables except your passport at the Front Desk for the
safety of your valuables.
(Lending Service)
JICA Kansai provides a lending service of iron, two-socket plug, hair dryer, portable fax machine and
various recreational articles such as sporting goods (tennis rackets and balls) and so on.
Iron and plug are needed to be returned immediately after your use for the benefit of other users.
(Parcel Service)
From the Front Desk, you can send parcel to your country by surface or air.
4. Library
Library is located on the 1st floor. You can borrow up to five books for two weeks.
For the detail, please contact the librarian.

5. Sporting Facilities (Gym and Tennis Court)
Facilities for sporting activities etc. are available as follows :
Weekdays: Gym 08:00 - 22:00
Others 12:00 - 22:00
Saturdays, Sundays and National Holidays: 08:00 - 22:00
Reservation should be made at the Front Desk.
Users shall prepare for the game and return the equipment after use on your own responsibility.
6. Laundry Room
Laundry Room with washing machine and drying machine is located on each floor and is
open from 07:00 to 23:00. Please avoid using them after 23:00 not to disturb people
staying close to the Laundry Room. Ironing is only permitted in the Laundry Room.
7. Health Consultation Room
Located on the 3rd floor.
Open 12:00-19:00 (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday), and 09:30-12:00 (Saturday).
Medical coordinator's health consultation is available during the office hour.
 8. Vending Machines
Vending Machines for drinks are available both in the cafeteria and on the 4th floor.

9. Hot water for bath and shower

Hot water for bath and shower is supplied daily from 06:00 to 24:00.

10. Air Conditioning Operation (Operation time will be extended, if necessary.)

Jun. 1 - Sep. 30 (for cooling) 07:00 - 01:00 (following day)
Nov. 15 - Mar. 31 (for heating) 06:00 - 24:00

11. Room Cleaning Hours

Bedrooms are cleaned daily between 10:00 and 15:00 except Saturdays, Sundays and
National Holidays. Sheets are changed once a week.

12. Telephone Calls

Incoming calls are received at the Front Desk from 6:00 to 23:00, and are connected to
your room through extension line.
Please inform your family and friends to call before 23:00.
Only emergency call is connectable after 23:00.
You can make outgoing calls.

13. Fax Service

Receiving service is available at JICA Office free of charge (078)261-0465.
Fax can be received during 09:30 - 17:00 on weekdays. Please ask senders to write
your name and room number.
You can send fax from your room using portable fax machine which is available at the Front Desk.

14. Smoking Restriction

JICA Kansai is a Non-Smoking facility.
Smoking is prohibited on the premises except in the inner garden on the 3rd floor
and the acommodation rooms on the lower floor mainly from the 5th to 7th floor.
