REPORT

The Pre-Launch Event of GSM 2022 witnessed a participation of 32 students, which was conducted by
Deloitte USI. The event commenced with the speaker Ms. Manishi Jain, who has completed her graduation
from Sri Venkateswara College itself, providing a detailed insight into the process of auditing and
describing her journey in Deloitte USI thus far. Subsequently, a video was played to familiarise the
students about what the Graduate School Maverick 2022 actually entails.

The panel then explained the timeline for the event. It will begin with an Online Test to understand the
aptitude of the applicants, following which the shortlisted students will form teams and begin working on a
topic given by Deloitte USI. The teams will be guided by mentors from the company.

After this, a short quiz was held wherein students had to answer 5 questions in 2 minutes about Deloitte
USI and auditing in general. Ms. Manishi also gave a brief introduction to CPA, a much lesser known
certification, in order to make the students aware about it as a career option in the future.

The meeting was concluded with a Q&A session.
