Detailed
This course in runs in Block B
description of
content The course focus is on application of classical and
molecular genetic concepts and methods in modern
genetic analysis. The contents include 1) DNA
metabolism such as replication, mutagenesis, repair and
general and site specific recombination, DNA
transposition 2) classical genetic crosses in both pro-
and eukaryotic model organisms including viruses, 3)
genetic analysis of gene regulation, 4) gene technology,
DNA sequencing, genomics and bioinformatics.
