The quality of children’s carly experiences and environment makes a critical difference as their brains develop, Providing either strong or weak foundations for leaning, health and behaviour throughout life. All parents make their sincere efforts to bring up their children in the best. possible way; however this phase also presents its own set of challenges for the parents. ‘To address these issues, an online workshop on “Positive Parenting” has been organized for the parents of students of classes I to V. The objective of the workshop is to understand the importance of early childhood, strengthening the parent child relationship, promoting positive self-esteem in children, the significance of effective communication, limit setting and discipline etc. Since parents are role models for children, an understanding of these topics will enable them to guide, support and motivate children towards personal holistic development, healthy interpersonal relationships and responsible behavior.
